[She taps him on the shoulder, and flies across the street.]

Yes, here is it! And it looks as though these spirits haven't been dampened by the flooding!

[He follows her across the street into the bar.]

[She pushes open the door. Despite what she's said, there's some water that's been getting in, and the floor is covered by about an inch of flooding. Still, for the most part, the bar is actually high and dry, and the seats are not splattered with that much water.

Muzét beats him to the bar, drifting up and down and side to side like a giant hummingbird as she checks out the different bottles of alcohol present.]

Do you happen to have a favorite drink, Darin? [She has no idea how to mix drinks. But how hard could it be?]

"I think you've managed to make sure that's pretty soon." She sounded sure of herself, nodding to him as she gestured back down the street.

"We might want to wait here. To watch that everyone gets here safely and stuff."

Also to take a break, considering it hasn't been uneventful clearing the way back to the trainwreck itself.

[He follows after her and takes a seat at the bar.]

Not particularly. I'm used to drinking watered down ale, so I'll take anything right about now.

If that's all you want, you could get it right off the floor.

[Actually, though, that IS a drink she can pour. After all, ale is just beer, isn't it? She finds a glass -- how about one of these funny tall ones? -- and starts filling it from the tap.]

[THAT'S BECAUSE SHE ISN'T Darin do you even see the stupid glass she's pouring your drink into? There's a nice glass mug right over there she could be using. Instead you get one of those glasses that exists purely for novelty drinks and silly umbrellas.]

I wasn't, but I picked up a few tricks while playing hostess around here. The men love being brought drinks almost as much as they love buying them for me!

[She gives a charming, musical chuckle as she sits on the bar, a few seats down from Darin, one leg folded the other in that "let's get down to business in a sexy way" kind of position.]

I'm actually quite the popular attraction here. Usually, the patrons have to request me by name~...

[He hammers that drink down. He needed this.]

They did say it was like I opened a black hole in the customers' wallets.

[She's already lining him up with another.]

[She sets the second drink down and enjoys a bit of hers. Just a sip, because that's the key -- you drink a little and encourage them to drink a lot.]

[Yeah he's downing that one too. Darin doesn't do things in half measures. I mean, he's already sitting there naked. He literally has nothing to lose.]

[She leans in uncomfortably close over the bar.]

[She chuckles again. She's pulling back, but somehow that doesn't make things more comfortable around here. Instead, it shifts their respective positions so he's more looking up at her than eye-to-eye.]

Would it really be that bad, Darin? You've already gotten an eyeful, and you were sober at that point, and you only threw a little bit of a tantrum over it.
