[half a year... about 183 days. it's probably not long in the big scheme of things, but that's just a little more than half of his whole existence. for roxas, that's a long time to be in one place with no answers and no way to get out.]

Nothing at all? [so do ya'll just suck at recon or are things that tight-lipped? that's what roxas wants to know, because that's a lot of days to come up with nothing.]

Or this is just a really weird, weird joke that neither of them really seem to be getting the punchline for. Though, back home, someone would have had to have been living under a rock for quite some time to not know what anyone meant when talking about "The Company" in singular, proper tense.]

[He gets the feeling that this is what it's been like on the other side of the conversation thus far. They both have pieces, but it's like they fit in entirely different puzzles.]

[It might be necessary. He's not sure how to make this urge stop, for as weird and awkward and extremely boundary-crossing as it is, it feels right, and that part freaks him out more than anything.

Being an embarrassing disaster isn't really anything new. But this definitely crosses a line even for him.

But if his digs his nails into his hands hard enough...it's a minor pain, barely bordering on annoying, but it's a distraction. Enough that he can force himself to pull away, even if he has to cross his arms tightly to keep from latching on all over again.]

[that was probably the worst possible wording shinpachi could have used, considering his own "existence." being told from day one that he was incomplete because he had no heart, that nobodies are beings that don't really exist or have a place in the world—left to seek their own hearts in the realm between, not really accepted by the realms of light or darkness—he's not sure how to react to that.]

I see. So that's how it is. [there's a definite shift in his tone, one that's bitter, and yet also somehow melancholic.]

[Little does Shuu know that Peridot's an Expert at just getting the fuck out the second she senses danger.]

[Which isn't exactly true. She would like to know more about what he is, if not human. But a threat is a threat, even if it's pretending to not be one right now. That wins out over curiousity.]

[ And in typical Peridot fashion, she recoils at the sudden appearance of the Silent Hill nurses, taking more steps back. They begin to surround Peridot, and unfortunately, she's not backing up towards a door this time, but a wall. So she's trapped, along with the ceiling to this place being far too low for her to escape that way. Fortunately though, she still has her electricity. One by one, they start to get closer, and as soon as one is within range of Peridot's hand, she zaps them long enough to paralyze upon touching her finger. Still, this isn't something she wants to deal with again, and if Nonon isn't out of the room by then, she's going to have to get out of the way of a scrambling-for-the-door Gem. ]
