[They aren't okay. They're not well, and there's only him and Arles and the rookie who are there at all even capable of taking on their human forms. And Rath is already sick.

He's worried. HE may be a small wolf-shaped maniac, but he worries about his pack. That's his family. The only family he has anymore.]

They don't give us a whole lot of answers, the higher-ups have already been replaced by another set of weirdos, and the ones who used to live here didn't approve of them taking over in the first place.

So right now, a lot of us are trying to figure out what the truth is and if our homes are okay or not.

[Oh. It's weird and Guillan wrinkles up his nose before crossing his arms over his chest. Hm. Weird. Whatever this guy is, it's definitely not normal huma, and that's not a bad thing actually.

[Therefore home can't be destroyed. His pack can't be gone. Denial is strong in him right now -- especially since all of the technological explanation is lost entirely on him.]

[Guillan is not impressed at all. In fact he looks entirely displeased by everything that she has to say about the jerks running this place.]

Our homes gotta be okay. There ain't no other option. [Guillan has spoke, and spoken stubbornly. That's the answer because it has to be the answer.]

[ Again Yu drums his fingers on his cup, his expression thoughtful and eyes half-lidded. ]

I'd planned to discover the truth for myself.

[ He wasn't sure what to believe. Did he think CERES was telling him the truth? Not necessarily. But there was no alternative story, either, until he had a chance to investigate. He still doesn't know what the possible other answers are, either. ]

Different versions of Japan... you mean more than one version of Earth exists? [ There's a beat as he considers this and he glances back up at the building he just descended from. ] That could explain everyone having different powers.

[Her own fingers tighten a bit and she picks up the cup, taking a sip.]

I've personally infiltrated their facility. And I've been here long enough to know a bit more than most.

First and foremost? There's no mention in any of the records that CERES has, both in their private and public sections, on the Flamines.

Sure. Sorry about before. [ Yu will gesture, and Izanagi will disappear in a shower of blue motes of light. ] I'll make sure to give you more warning in the future if I need to call a persona. [ The lightness in his tone suggests he's joking, at least a little. ]

[He lifts his chin smug as smug can be. ...even if he's totally a kidnapped wolf with no idea of what to do next.

I like him! All the people from your world seem nice so far. [Because he's somehow only met the like, two decent people from it?!]

[ His eyebrows lift at that. Infiltrated their facility? And she's not a wanted fugitive? Why?

But the information she has to offer is more interesting. Yu sits up a little straighter, his expression of incredulity doing half the talking for him. ]

This could mean a few things. Either our worlds are safe and the footage we see is fabricated, or if they are being destroyed, it's CERES doing it. It's probably the former... [ He muses aloud. But then he shakes his head. ] But why?

[roping]

[And Guillan will now break that streak entirely, sorry dude.]

...then you ain't met many people from my world. Most all of 'em...

[They're awful. Cats and huma and all sorts of peoples. And okay yeah the wolves regularly murder entire villages for revenge and some instinctual hope for a cure.]

[He turns to Yang now and, settling his hands on his hips, he stares at her, lifting his chin.] So you're gonna show me! I just decided!

Ordinarily Pitch was a patient man, but this infuriating game had him starting to ascend his own set of steps in a trice--

--when a giant Tetris block came crashing through said steps.

With no one to turn it or move it into place it was standing upright, essentially taking up the whole row by itself after rupturing the dreamsand staircase so that Pitch sneered at the Tetris block now partially poking through the staircase. There were more coming down, though, and quick ]
