[There's an internal sigh of relief when she reassures him, glad to know that he hasn't made himself off to be TOO much of a destructive loose cannon (although he could really be less of one, too). Sure, he was reckless and kind of dumb, but he didn't want people to fear him over it. Better for them to be intimidated by his ability to kick their ass and sheer toughness instead.

But man, this girl was really fixated on the details about this, wasn't she? Granted, he wasn't at home, nor was he working for the Spirit World anymore, so he couldn't get in trouble for telling her these things... but it felt so weird trying to explain this stuff to someone who may not have dealt with this sort of thing before.]

Well... in my world, anyway, there's a place called the Spirit World that have all these ogres who do all this paperwork crap for the dead people coming through. They usually seem to have it pretty organized, from what I hear, but once every so often there's dumbasses like me who screw up the order of things and they don't have a place to put you in the actual afterlife so they have to boot you back.

But I guess that all depends on what you believe in, anyway. I dunno if it works the same for folks in other religions or not.
