![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

Once you choose your lesson and your tutor, you will be transported to a classroom where you and a few other players who decide to choose the same lesson will sit with your tutor after school, getting knowledge taught to you by someone who seems more intent on learning what's under your clothes than filling your head with knowledge. They will be awkwardly stretching, dropping pencils by 'accident' on the floor, and bending down slowly to pick them up. Certain things might be spilling out of their clothes. Awkward things. They will breathe down your neck and make sure you are well-versed in their anatomy by the end of the lesson.

I'm not bad. [ he'll pull out his twin swords from wherever the hell he keeps them, taking a stance. ] Unless that thing has any more tricks up its sleeves, we should be okay.
no subject
Woah, hey, that's not fair! How come she didn't confiscate those!?
[ He's still hung up about Hilda taking his skateboard... ]
no subject
[ plus it's just hard to explain how ludger walks around carrying an arsenal of weapons with him all times. ]
You can get back your things once we take care of this.
no subject
Fine with me! You wanna go first?
[ Yata's fists are on fire, literally, but he wants to see Ludger do his twin sword thing. ]
no subject
and darting forth towards the bug creature, faster than you'd probably expect. he manages to get in a few good blows, before the monster begins to try to flee - right towards yata. ]
no subject
Yata doesn't panic and is quick to react. He stops the bug with a kick, then deals a couple of punches before sending it back to ludger. It doesn't seem to be strong enough to get up anymore, though... ]
no subject
[ yeah, it's not getting back up. now he feels a little silly after spending all that time running away from it. granted, from the sounds around them, it seems like there are bug monsters chasing after other people too. just another day in vivid. ]
no subject
[ Huh. It seems like these monsters are everywhere in the campus, too. ]
This happen often?
no subject
[ which, at least, is better than the opposite. ]
The last few times it was in the real world.
no subject
[ He looks at his hands, then looks around. But everything feels so real! ]
no subject
[ ...then again, CERES has a pretty spotty track record of actually informing its visitors of anything. ] This is definitely virtual reality... or something like that. They call it a game, but everything that happens in here is real too. So I guess you can just think of it as another world.
no subject
Dude... [ An inhuman cry in the distance distracts him. ] So if you die in this game, you die in real life, right?
no subject
I... I'm not sure about that. I've never died in here. If you get hurt here, you get hurt in real life though.
no subject
How do we get out?
no subject
You probably need to finish this simulation before they'll let you out.
no subject
[ He seems to ponder on that for a moment before breaking into a sprint. A few steps after, however, he turns around as if he just remembered something. ]
Thanks for the tip! I'm Yata.
no subject
[ at least he intends to follow after for now... even if this guy seems more than capable of taking care of myself. ]
Oh. I'm Ludger.
no subject
[ They're going straight ahead. ]
no subject
I'm a secret agent.
no subject
SERIOUSLY!?
no subject
no subject
[ The twin swords he pulled out of nowhere are totally gadgets. ]
no subject
yeah, depressing. ]
But sometimes. [ in a flash his twin swords change into twin guns, which he'll fire at the bug monster as they make their retreat. fancy gadgets indeed. ]
no subject
That is so cool. You gotta tell me more. And you show me those sometime!
no subject
[ of course, he's joking. but from how he says that with a straight face, it's not particularly obvious. ]
