![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

Miss Mary it is, then! A very classical name. It suits you.
[Marys tend to be shy, right... Even if they're not, he can make it up, if it relaxes her.]
no subject
[ way to catch her off-guard. ]
no subject
It does! In my opinion, at least. Don't you think so?
[He nods, very confident in his answer.]
no subject
I... don't know. No one's ever told me that before.
no subject
[This explains so much, and yet, so little.]
What a shame! They must be blind and stupid, to miss something so obvious.
no subject
[ IS SHE A MORON. ]
no subject
That's hardly surprising. It is much harder to know oneself than it is to know another!

[He tilts his head at her, still smiling, but he's letting a little concern slip into his expression.]
Are you afraid of me, after all? You hide yourself as though you expect to be attacked, Miss Mary.

[He nods and crosses his arms, looking very serious.]
In that case, you and I must get to know one another better! That way, you will at least know one person here.

[ she looks so petrified. ]
no subject
That's wonderful! I'm glad to be your friend, and I promise you, I will be a good one.
[Good acquaintance, maybe. It's a little harder to get into Cynbel's "won't run off if you're in mortal danger" column.]
no subject
T-then, I promise too!
no subject
I'm glad!
[Then, he motions to her with one hand, still smiling.]
Now that we're friends, do you suppose you might want to come out from there? Or should I come to you?
no subject
HI... new friend. ]
no subject
There, now. It's much easier to talk together this way, isn't it?
[And he stops, about a foot away.]
Would you like to have something to eat? If you're as new as you say, you must have had a very trying day.
no subject
... A lot of things tried to kill me. So I should probably keep my strength up. [ logical!! ]
no subject
Oh, my... Did they go that far? What a terrible welcome.
[His eyebrows go up, but it's polite surprise and not very genuine. Cerealia is way more dangerous than he'd first thought, but that was months ago.]
All the more reason to, ah, "keep your strength up". Here, there is a place over here to eat that seems very popular!

[Oh, the naivete of people from lands without fast food...]

[Restaurants usually have good food people might want to try, anyway, but that's the simplest answer he can think of.]
