What: Myriam asked Athena if she wanted to hang out, so they go shopping after work. May they not end up arguing in this log, too.

[ As promised, Athena went to the shopping district after finishing some tests that she had to do at the medical facility. Slung on her shoulder is a blue shoulder bag, filled with papers and books. It's actually pretty heavy, but it's kind of like being in school, so it's nothing new to her. It's a bit different from what she usually brings with her to the cosplay cafe when she works (pro-tip: nothing but her purse), but she loves it, anyway.

She waits for Myriam at a small fast food stall. She was craving for something cheesy, and she was just really hungry after work, she couldn't wait. It might be a good idea to text Myriam about her whereabouts, though… she almost forgot, oops. ]

I'll be waiting by the Mexican food stand! :D

[In truth she had been hiding for a while in stealth mode to get a good idea of the layout and how many people were coming and going.]

[she'd give Athena about five minutes before working her way over to the Mexican food stand, there was a good chance Athena would see her before vice-versa.]

[ Athena couldn't miss somebody wearing a box on their head. Though she catches Myriam approaching her while she has a nacho in her mouth. WHO CARES. She raises her hand and waves at Myriam, anyway. ]

[ Never talk when your mouth is full, kids. ]

[Myriam would wave back, sticking a hand from the top of her box to do so, and make her way over. Dodging pedestrian traffic.]

Hi Athena! ...I see I caught you before you before you could finish eating. Sss, sss.

[ Yeah, she's going to swallow what she has now, and down it with some orange juice. ]

[ She's almost done with her plate, anyway. So she eats the rest of the nachos and downs them right away with the help of her orange juice. Kind of like what a kid would do. ]

We probably aren't, [ WAY TO INSTILL PARANOIA ON SOMEONE, ATHENA. ] but it's okay! If somebody ever tries to steal something from us, I'll chase them down and beat them up!

[ It looks like she's done with her food, though. She wipes her mouth with a table napkin and crumples it up after using it. ]

[ She gets up and picks up all her belongings before nodding towards the exit. ]

There's actually a cute shop that I wanted to go back to, too. The dresses they sell there are so cute!

Oh, we'll have to stop and find some sort of water-proof box too.

Y- You mean to say you'll be wearing a box while swimming too?!

Shouldn't be too hard! I'm thinking one made out of plastic or styrofoam would probably be good enough... or I can just sit on the side away from the water and stick to the basic cardboard.

I guess all you can do with that is float. You can't do any diving or anything.

[ She points to a nearby shop; the clothes up on display are colourful swimsuits. It might be winter now, but it looks like specialty stores like this one don't close despite the season. ]

[Scuttlebutt, nodded, a gesture lost entirely because she was wearing a box over her head, but she'd follow Athena to the swimsuit shop just the same]

[...it occurred to her she hadn't actually ever been swimsuit-shopping, owed to the fact she hadn't tried swimming since she was in elementary school, and she therefore had no idea what to look for]

[ She's picked out a couple of hangers already, and she shows them to Myriam. Both are two piece swimsuits with a tube top, though the one on the left is orange and white, while the one on her other hand is yellow and blue. ]

I guess the colours I like are predictable, huh?

[ ... for Myriam, though. . . she hums in thought as she looks at her from head to toe. ] What's your favourite colour?

Still, black is suitable for anything! ...Just maybe not paired with stark-white, on samurai outfits.

[ She nods sagely. Everybody knows black looks best with blue, or yellow. Red, probably not so much. She's never worn something that has a lot of red lately. ]

Just make sure your box isn't stark-white, then. Or doesn't have any Japanese characters on it.

[ Just teasing, though! She giggles softly after saying it, and walks over to where the blacks are, and goes through the selection. ]
