Abe no "screw the rules" Sousei [ 安部 蒼世 ] ([personal profile] deontology) wrote in [community profile] estoria 2015-06-17 09:42 pm (UTC)

[It helps, really, that she does so. He catches a glimpse of her run out of the corner of his eye, and notes that she's basically to safety.

That means he can start working his own way that way.

Sousei ducks beneath another rending claw out of instinct more than anything, lifting his sword to catch the backswing and move with the force to lunge his way past the monster.

The only good thing about a creature this big is that it's mercifully slow--and so Sousei runs, hardly bothering to even glance over his shoulder to see how the monster is faring; it takes it some time to turn around, and then to lumber after him, so he has time to spare by the time he's made it into that safe space.

And, indeed, as soon as they've left the monster's sight, it seems to lose interest in them; at least some part of ViViD haven't seemed to change.]

Are you alright? [Gotta check and make sure everything's right and in line and went without a hitch--which is basically true, though there's a rip in Sousei's sleeve and a gash in his upper arm, which, while not serious, are things he will notice in a moment as very much Not Right in ViViD.]
