[ a "forever fall" cinder is inclined to say in reference to that exact location in the remnant. an eternal forest full of red autumn leaves, sweet maple and at times, the occasional train robbery. however, that isn't where they are right now. the trees here are green and littered with, what cinder assumes are, monsters. even if hawke ran, she'd be encountering low-level troglodytes hybrids and other miscellaneous creatures until she exhausted herself.
still, for the meantime cinder is content to talk. while it won't cease the inevitable, it's doing enough to prolong it. maybe they'll return to colony midway. for now, though. while cinder is quick to dismiss all of hawke's suggestions, thinking of their scenario as a purgatory is not is... interesting. ]
