Technology becoming a hassle? Rip didn't care. She could do just fine without it. But, when the blackout started... She got excited. Her excitement grew when the sounds of creatures stalking the darkness made themselves known to her. A faint brush against her shoulder.. the feeling of breath against the nape of her neck and turning around to see that there was no one there. Every little bit called to her to go out and play! Rip didn't need to think twice about what she wanted to do, the darkness was a vampire's friend and she was just as much at home in it as in the light. Perhaps.. a little more so.
After making sure her dog was secure within her sparse apartment, Rip took to the streets. It was time to have a little fun her way... no strange computer games! Rip was on the hunt to scare people while she could~. Sadly, it was the only type of hunting she could do at the moment... not the type she truly wanted, but, a hunt was a hunt no matter what limitations there were.
Rip could can be found all around the place lurking in the dark and stalking random people. Does anyone feel as if they are being stalked~? Do they hear strange humming coming from out of nowhere~? It might be Rip... who knows~.

[Like the exquisite taste fear gave the blood after she was done terrorizing her victims, sometimes even slowly breaking bones or tearing off limbs... Rip missed those days.]
I've found a few play toys so far. Zo many people are afraid of vat goes bump in zhe night that it iz such easy pickings~.

[He winks, then stands up straighter, cracking his head from side to side with a couple of shrugs.]
Think yer boss's comin' t' check on yer work.
[A massive treelike creature turns its head toward them, sniffing the air. Blood drips out of its mouth. Looks like it already got its dinner started.]
Wanna go say hi 'fore I knock its shitty block off?

[About the time he's straightening up, she heard the monster approaching and smiles in delighted.]

[He sounds not at all upset about the situation though, sniffing at the creature and then making sure he has Ifrit junctioned up to help him. If you gotta get rid of an annoying tree, there's no better way than fire. Namur doesn't give the creature the benefit of the first move, he simply darts for it, slipping underneath its massive claws and throwing an uppercut from directly beneath its giant maw. Flames spark on impact, flashing bright in the darkness.]

[Tease as she might, Rip was studying the tree monster and looking for weaknesses. It almost reminded her of some of the creatures she tended to avoid back in Ruby City... except less intelligent and not so human looking.
Now, how does a vampire harm a tree? That was the questioning she was pondering as Namur rushed in. Was that a spark? Fire? She blinked and focused more on him.
Admittedly, the fire made her a little wary, but, it.. was a lt better than what she could do to the thing in front of them.]

To bad zhis creatures izn't flesh und blood.. I could really uze a drink right now~.
[With only a few moments of recovery she was dashing into the fray carving at the tree creature and nimbly avoiding its vines or hacking at them. Rip was a predator enjoying a very exhilarating dance of predator and prey~. The creature just didn't know it was her prey, yet.]
