[02] [Open] ♚ All Aboard the Pain Train
Who:
bigbingoattack,
capforthat, and YOU. Open to fighters or spectators!
When: Backdated to 1/22 (6/17)
Where: CERES Gardens
What: Immediately following this network post where Vegeta called out to fellow fighters.
Rating/Warning: Fighting, likely to contain violence, blood, and foul language
Important Note: Do not feel obligated to reply! I am more than happy to handwave any fights between characters. But if you do want to proceed, feel free to get in touch with me so we can talk things out. I am not completely familiar with all of the characters in the game and their various abilities, so I'd love to hear from you before we jump into things. You can contact me through any of these ways.
Option A. ROUND 1--FIGHT
[Vegeta was waiting.
The Saiyan was hovering above the gardens, about ten feet or so off of the ground, arms crossed over his muscled chest and his expression as stone-faced as ever. The anticipation for battle was beginning to tingle up his spine, but the man remained quiet and calm.
It wouldn't be too much longer.]
Option B. No fighting in the bleachers
[...or benches, more accurately. Bulma was seated on a bench with her hands cupped around a hot drink. Her eyes followed the fighting with keen interest, excitement even, and apparently without concern. She was confident that today's matches would be, if not fair (how could they be when a Saiyan was involved?), at least honorable.
Abruptly, she leaped to her feet and cupped a hand around her mouth to shout,] WOOHOO! GO GET'EM HONEY! KICK HIS FACE IN!!
Option C. Wildcard.
[Go nuts! If you'd like to start threads between other characters or try to brawl with some of the other fighters showing up, go for it!]

Only belatedly does he even realize he didn't get the guy's name.
He trudges out of the trees into a clearing and manages to catch sight of something hovering in the air out of the corner of his good eye. Good thing, because that's the guy. Well. That's new. At least seeing Vegeta there gives him something to lock onto, in order to find the spot near the bench where the fight could begin. Hopefully that woman with the hair almost as bright as his own wouldn't be in the way...]
OI! We gonna do this, or what?

Scuttlebutt wasn't much for sports in and of themselves, but they consistently drew in readers and so Scuttlebutt had to be there. Watching.]
[At least she had judged the attitude of the event right, given the cheering from Bulma.]
Sss, sss, sss! Any particular favorite for this fight?
[She had a notepad and pen out to take notes, her camera ready to take pictures, and a casette recorder to take audio.]

You must be Mister Legendarily Strong! That's a silly nickname though, so let's not use it. I'm Nanoha, Takamachi Nanoha. We spoke over the CereVice about a spar? I'm ready at any time!
[ She plucked out the gem that always hung around her neck and raised it to her lips, setting up in a sequence that seemed to take over a minute but actually took a split second. It was best not to over-think the logic behind magical girl transformations.
With staff in hand and Barrier Jacket ready, she flies up to Vegeta's level, smiling, but full of quiet determination. ]

Though.. there were reasons for that. Rip studied the fights happening below and couldn't help but grin slightly. It's been quite some time since she's seen something like this~. Too bad she couldn't participate, so she'll just settle on watching for now.]
Zhis is quite zhe display... I vonder if ve could ever start a tournament like zhis around here.

A & B...or B then A really hahaaa...
By the time he arrives, there's already another fight underway, but that's okay. Sanji doesn't mind, he can wait. Gives him a chance to check out this so-called legendary strength, maybe get an idea for the way Vegeta—
...........Hello, pretty lady in the audience.
AND JUST LIKE THAT, all thoughts of the impending fight promptly scoot on out of Sanji's head for the moment as he gazes in his typical lovestruck way at Bulma. Uwaaaaah, she even has hair similar to his lovely Vivi-chwan's~!! Blue like that, it's adds such a unique beauty to an already perfect flower, making her stand out like a sapphire of the highest quality!
He's all up in her space in approximately 0.2 seconds, dropping down on the bench not far from her and sliding in even closer before offering up his most suave (read: ridiculous) grin.]
Is this seat taken, mademoiselle~?
[...Uh, but you know. He's ready to fight whenever you are, Vegeta. /cough]

C + A because reasons = OTA / + 1/2 because it needs to be separate.
[Well, no, he does.]
[But his idea of fighting for fun isn't so formal, and more about trolling the hell out of everyone, and this doesn't seem like a good time or place for it, and anyway, he's only barely got any idea at all why he's even here.]
[Maybe, because he's tired of fruitlessness, and inaction.]
[Maybe, because he half hopes someone will give him a reason to cut loose, and make it personal enough to get really involved.]
[Maybe, because he's an idiot.]
[Probably that.]
[But there's a strange sort of aura to the... not human chilling out above the ground.]
[Could he actually be stronger than Marco's father?]
[No. Impossible.]
[No one was stronger than Edward Newgate. Whitebeard was a monster to make even Marco's monster side look tame beyond all belief.]
[And yet...]
[Marco shifts jaw, thinking harder.]
[The hovering makes him want to switch to hybrid, to hop up to the air and show off that ten feet is nothing.]
[Yeah fuck it, fighting is something rookies and people who still want to prove themselves to the world want to do. It's not that Marco has nothing left to prove, but the problem is, even if he proves it like this, it's only going to bring trouble. He's seen that before.]
[Marco will watch. He might take some mental notes, but if he fights someone enough to draw blood, it might make his wife jealous anyway! And he can't have that!]
[Maybe he's just rationalizing though.]
[And he'll still be there when the fights get started too. Watching and waiting for a reason.]

It's because of this that he's sticking to the stands for now in full his full combat outfit, whips retracted - he's honestly not looking for any sort of trouble, if someone wanted to ask him for a match, though, he wasn't going to say no.]

To be prepared in case anything came up.
It seemed he wasn't in for a disappointment either when he saw the other man floating.]
I guess we shouldn't waste much time talking. [The man had seemed more like the impatient type anyways.] Come at me.

more like b? so I guess a c? Also super late
And so he only came here to watch and see for himself what was that "legendary power" that Vegeta talked about. Yuto can be seen in some distance, just standing there in the nearest shadow and observing.]
