[A second life away from the Walls and the Titans, away from everything he had known. Erwin was sure he was expected to be grateful for the opportunity but he had stared at the scientists who had greeted him with the information when they had failed to give him satisfactory answers.
They were trying to back up every bit of information on his world and if they knew enough to bring him here, then they knew enough. He would cooperate for now if just to be in the position to be able to corrupt the data if he had to. It would be risking his own existence but that was the price he was willing to pay. It was better that their world was completely lost.
Erwin had stayed late in the office, going over some papers. He had practiced enough with his left hand that his writing wasn't completely illegible. He noticed the stares those around him attempted to hide, the glances at his arm, the way people awkwardly offered to help him with even the most simple of tasks that he was more than capable of handling on his own. It was nice to have a break from that by working late after everyone had gone home and the department was dark for the night.
Pen hovering over the paper, Erwin looked up with a frown as he heard a rustling sound. No one was supposed to be here this time of night and he doubted anyone had an excuse to be here. He didn't move from the desk though, there was no where else to go anywhere. But the pen was tucked into the palm of his left hand, some habits would always stay with him.]
I assume you have a reason to be here.
[He said loudly enough for this person to hear him. They would have seen the light in his office, heard the rustling of papers so there was no reason not to speak up.]
