[ When he's done writing on the pad, he... doesn't actually show her the fruits of his labor, nor does he draw attention to it. Instead he just places it facedown on her bed, but should she choose to look at it at any point, she'll find a silly drawing on it. Turns out it wasn't very important at all.

He seems relieved, at least. It's not often he gets to feel like he helped out. ]

I should get going. They'll start wondering where I went... and hospital food isn't as bad as everyone says.
