We were about to go home, actually. We found out what COMPASS really was, and they were these weird.. brain-creatures or whatever. I guess they might've been aliens too. [ Since it sure wasn't like anything he's ever seen in his life.. ] We beat them and going home.
But instead of finding myself back home, I woke up here instead. The same happened to a couple of guys who I knew from back home-- they also went straight from that place to here.
