A: Gonna Take you For a Jog

[It's probably a normal sight in Cerealia from now that a young man in green spandex jogs relentlessly around whole sectors of the colony on a daily basis. He was just out of comission during the trip underground and his day or two of recovery afterwards. Now he's back in action! And wearing a green headband to mix things up.

So you can find him in any district, jogging pretty much anywhere. On the sidewalks, on the tops of moving vehicles, alongside outer walls of buildings, or on ceilings inside of buildings.

If he notices you, he will smile and give a thumbs up, pausing to jog in place for the moment.]

Would you like to join me?!

B: Used Sparringly

[He can also be found at the gym, where he works as a martial arts instructor. Are you a prospective new student, or perhaps someone who has been learning under him for a while? Or just a passerby who has no idea what is going on.

Either way, you'll see Lee warming up with a series of speedy and powerful punches and kicks... until one kick accidentally bisects a training dummy. He immediately drops to his knees to mourn it.]

No!! What have I done?!

C: The VIViD Option

[Lee is at the ViVID Game Center now. He's worked up a sweat through all of his other exercises, now it's time for more of a virtual burn! But he hasn't started the game yet. He looks indecisive.]

Ah... what to choose...!

D: Wildcard

[Lee can also be generally found serving at a ramen shop, going out shopping or wandering around!]

[ He's actually here to try and go in alone, because his points all vanished after the last event and it's a quick way to get something for food etc without bothering people. He recognises him from the post before and actually is ready to turn on his heel and come back later...

The only problem is, that if he wants to have dinner at a reasonable time he'll have to do it now. ]

What are the options? [ Maybe it'll go okay. (in his dreams, maybe) ]

Merlin-kun! [He perks up when he recognizes his friend and turns to face him, trying to get a good look at him.] I am glad to tell you that you are just as... no, even more handsome in person! Good job!!

[A thumbs up.]

As for the options... they seem to be called 'Street Ballet', 'Puzzle Hell', and 'Wizards'! Ah... I just cannot decide! [He agonizes.]

[ Ah... that isn't the first thing he'd expect to hear, but it's nice to see that this guy's cheer is Real. ]

Thanks? [ He looks at him in confusion, finally deciding to just concentrate on the information in front of him. ]

Well which might you be ... better at? Or which would be the most challenging?

I cannot tell! Perhaps my graceful movements would work best in "Street Ballet"... while the most challenging? Ah, puzzles are always an interesting challenge!

Puzzles are an interesting challenge. [ Interesting because he can't imagine this guy having the patience for them. At all. ]

I don't really mind, I mean I haven't really failed yet.

The puzzles it is then!! Let's go!

[Without leaving a moment for any deliberation, he starts it up.]

[ Why does it feel like he's going to his death? Merlin only raises an eyebrow at him as he starts this up, stepping closer to the equipment. He hasn't really used it that often, preferring to work his way up to this.

But here they are. ]

Let's... go. [ It's drier than the enthusiasm Rock Lee puts into it anyway. ]

[VIVID TIMES GOOOOO!!!]

Youth at full power!!

[And so with Puzzle Hell, activated, they find themselves in... a quiet, dark room. Lee glances around in confusion.]

Ah! Is this the place?

[The only things to be found in the area are two very small oddly-shaped objects on the floor. They're two puzzle pieces, and it looks like they can fit together perfectly. In fact, the moment one of them puts it together, it will just glow and vanish in the air, with one point being rewarded.]

[ He's pretty sure he isn't at full power when they're left in a quiet and dark room. It's confusing, but not too confusing to solve the first puzzle, it's after that it becomes problematic. ]

...Is there a door somewhere?

[ It can't be all this for just one point, can it? Merlin leans down towards the floor, hand hovering over the surface before his fingers graze it. It's hard to tell if there's a trap door somewhere with it looking all level. ]

Be careful where you step though, part of the floor might be a trap.

Do not worry! I will look around carefully!

[He starts to move around through the darkness and feels around for any sign of an exit or trap.

But, just moments after that first puzzle disappears, three identical sets of puzzle pieces appear instead. Lee quickly manages to grab one and put it together, making it vanish...

...and within moments, many more puzzle pieces are raining down from above.]

[ Why is it suddenly raining puzzle pieces???? He has to wonder if Lee somehow triggered a trap or if they have to use these for something else. Instead of panicking (mostly) he focuses on the pieces, slowing down time around him so he can figure out the fastest way to sort this thing out. ]

I hope you're always this fast. [ Merlin... isn't, but he can slam things together with magic as necessary. In fact, he's already using a form of telekinesis to slam pieces together. Thankfully, a bunch of them are already clicking into place and vanishing. ]

Yes! I can be as fast... as fast as I need to be!! [Rock Lee scampers around, quickly trying to pick up pieces and put them together, making them vanish. But more keep on pouring down...]

Ah, Merlin-kun, I will not let you down!!

[ This is an actual nightmare. Maybe this is a punishment for falling into a trap, maybe they're supposed to do this, he has no idea. He doesn't want to fail because he got hit in the back of the head though, so both his hands end up covering that as he focuses on trying to quickly make pieces zoom towards each other.

It's tiring though, even if it isn't real. ]

It's been a few minutes already... when is it going to end?!

It may not be our place to know! [Lee says, increasingly frantic as he puts more pieces together. Is it up to their knees now?!]

We simply must apply ourselves as much as we can! This... this may be the most trying hour of our youth!!

[ If he drowns in a pile of shapes, he's blaming Lee for all this. His magic can slow down things for him but it still doesn't help him zap them together fast enough. Lee's body will eventually get tired. There's got to be something else, surely?

The only problem is that it's hard to concentrate on other places when his eyes are needed on the task of trying to slam puzzle pieces together to make them vanish. ]

I wouldn't call it that but-- [ BUT DID REALLY NEED TO ACTIVATE THIS ]

But... but what?!

[He cries out, hoping for an answer. But rather than answer. Something else emerges! A bunch of misshappen puzzle pieces begin fitting themselves together, into a boss monster! While more puzzle pieces keep raining down around them.]

But-- [ And that's when the pieces start behaving weirdly, forming into--

Why is this happening. ]

Can you see an exit yet? [ He can't set the entire room on fire if they're still in it ]

I- I think I see somethi- ack, my eyes!! [Some stray puzzle pieces fall into Lee's eyes and he staggers back.

But then, something new drops down: giant puzzle pieces, which can be assembled into two human-sized dance pads.]

[ While Lee is staggering back he's trying his best to assemble the giant pieces though getting onto them with all these little pieces making a sea of lego is another thing entirely. He wobbles when he gets on top first and suddenly a screen yells out. ]

PLAYER ONE IS READY

[Rock Lee follows his lead while dodging the boss puzzle monster's blows, and he assembles his own puzzle dance pad. Finally, a voice shouts out.]

PLAYER TWO IS READY

FINAL ROUND, START

[And now, new pieces start falling from the ceiling; shaped like arrows, corresponding to the directions of the pad.

Get ready to rumble.]

[ He isn't quick and doesn't have good reflexes like Lee and he has no idea what's even happening when the arrows start falling. It takes a good few minutes where he's hovering on the line between bad and awful when he finally starts to get the hang of it.

He's never choosing a puzzle ViViD game again. ]

H-how...? [ He's also incredibly out of breath by song 2. Help. ]

Merlin-kun, can you not see?! We must use... not just the magic in our heart, but the magic in our feet as well!

[The next song starts, and Lee begins dancing furiously to match the arrows. Every arrow that's matched results in a hit to the monster... but every missed arrow by either of the two makes it stronger.]

I can't move that quickly! [ He snaps it back, a little amazed that Lee can even step this quickly despite his moves earlier. This is like ViViD's hard mode for someone who is more magically inclined and less physically fit okay.

Lee's efforts mean that it's getting hit at least, while Merlin's... Let's just say this monster isn't going to be fun to fight when this hell is over. ]

You can, Merlin-kun! I just know it! Please... push yourself to be more graceful than the you of yesterday! Move with the passionate song of your heart!! -Ack!

[Lee struggles, doing his best to try keeping up. But with Merlin's failures, the monster shoots out some puzzle pieces that knock Lee back for the moment.]

[ Why is this thing so rude?! He doesn't understand what Lee is trying to say here, all he knows is that his legs feel like jelly already and this truly was the worst choice. ]

Hold on! [ He yells out when those puzzle pieces go flying, and while they might have knocked him back he can concentrate well enough on making sure they stop before much damage is done, falling to the floor in a heap.

It makes him angry more than anything, that despite him being the one screwing this up, Lee is the one targeted. It helps though, even if he's still heavy footed it makes him push himself a little harder so their score starts going up a bit. ]
