Suits yourself, those doors are nothing but a nuisance.

[ Tieria heard the noise too and instead of heading for the cabinet, he draws his shotguns with practiced ease, ready to shoot whatever monsters heading their way. ]

Incoming!

[ without his blade on him, kanda feels off-balance, but that doesn't mean he won't punch a monster in the face if he has to. that said, he doesn't get in the way of his gun when the patient thunders down the hall. ]

[ Or rather, incoming monsters. There's more to them than expected but not any more than he couldn't handle. Before they could even come close, he starts shooting at them, but two escaped the fire line to attack Kanda. ]

Stray, two your way. Can you take them?

Got it.

[ he doesn't have his sword, having woken up in just the medical gown, but he dives in anyway. they're easier to handle than akuma, if less predictable. kanda takes them down just about as tieria finishes, short of breath and perspiring but not visibly injured. ]

[ Well, it looks like the guy is combat trained so he's less worried about him rushing into things or getting himself killed. Though, wearing a hospital gown and unarmed is probably not a good thing. ]

Are you alright?

[ Bringing up his weapon inventory, he wonders what should he spare for the guy but then the question comes to mind. ]

Blade or gun?

[overgrowth]

Fine. [ but he only perks up after tieria asks (for a given understanding of "perks up", that is; it's just a quick blink and his shoulders squaring). ] Blade. What kind?

[ Well, that shortens the list of available weapon considerably since his arsenals are mainly firearms. ]

Daggers and combat knives. Pick one. [ He has a sword but it's locked to his biometry so there's no point trying to lend it to him if he can't use it. ]

A knife.

[ he can handle those well enough. he doesn't really intend to return it, though, oops. ]

[ He tosses him a pair of combat knives from the inventory. ]

I'm heading that way, don't get yourself killed. You won't like the after effects once you woke up.

[ It's okay, Kanda. They'll return to Tieria's inventory anyway... ]

Yeah, yeah. I can handle myself.

[ darn. but he puts them to good use before they leave! ]

[ With that, Tieria heads down the hallway, leaving Kanda to himself.
