event016.exe - Tieria
Yogi
[ Once he got Yogi up on his feets, he starts searching the cabinets, finding nothing but empty pages after more empty pages. It's as if this is all a big joke. Though knowing CERES, this probably is one.
Huffing a little, he turns to Yogi. ]
There's nothing here. Let's go.
[ And hopefully they're going to run into more trap doors or monster patients. ]

What kind of game do you think they're playing at with this? Staging this kind of thing after what happened in real life... it seems tasteless and crude.
no subject
Knowing them, I'm not surprised. They're not whom I would call a bastion of exemplary behavior.
[ But on a much more serious note... ] They're probably trying to tell us something in a roundabout way. Masking it behind a game test is an easy enough camouflage.
no subject
[He plucks uncomfortably at a sleeve.]
But you're probably right; this way people that don't really care will just log out or not take it seriously, but anyone that wants a real answer will have to work for it.

Anna
[ Great. Just fantastic. First it was that guy with really spiky hair and now Anna. What's with all this unnecessary physical contact?!
Whether she's nervous or not, all he feels is annoyance and he doesn't even bother hiding it. At least he's not trying to pry her off the same he pried Zack, that was painful and most likely bruising. ]
You can't avoid a nurse?
no subject
He could see her chuckling to herself as she tried to laugh off how awkward this all was. Out of all people, she just had to hug him]
If I could, I wouldn't be here right now. They stabbed me thinking I was one of their patients and look how that turned out!
no subject
That just irritates him so much that he starts staring dagger at her. There's absolutely nothing funny about this. He wasted enough time with Zack... ]
Stop laughing, this isn't funny.
no subject
[But seriously, she was still pushing her way out of him but no matter what she did? It was still no use!]
For some odd reason, my arms just...won't...let go! What else can I do?

Kongwai
[ Tieria is just going to give the guy a face, even though he understands where he's coming from. He'll probably reacts the same way himself but it doesn't mean he can't be annoyed by it all the same. ]
I'm fine. [ Or so he said because his left hand is now stinging in pain from the hit. His pair of shotguns are not as lucky and is going to need repair... great. Bringing up his equipment menu, he pulls out a revolver and shove it into the gun straps on his waist. ]
What did you hit me with? [ He's going to use the cold spray but decides to ask first just in case this is something he should be using it on. ]
Kongwai
[ Not that he can do much at the moment, but he's not enough of a dick to deny his culpability in this situation.
And there it is, the obvious question! His left hand meets his right's palm as he racks his mind for what to say here. In the end, however, he supposes he owes it to him to be somewhat truthful with his answer. Even if this person had no magical background whatsoever, he probably had a good idea of what that bit of magic was meant to be by now anyway. ]
Just a blast of magic. It's meant to stun an attacker long enough for me to move to a more advantageous distance. I tried to lower the output at the last second, but going from, say, 50 to 0 isn't an easy feat. Any stinging directly from the blast should go away fairly quickly.
[ He'll just leave out the part where he can use it in a more offensive manner with the right spell timing. Not like it's particularly relevant to this conversation anyway. ]
no subject
I don't suppose you have any healing magic that would be useful for this? [ Holding up his stinging hand to make his point. He frowns but it's obvious that his pain tolerance is fairly high. ]
no subject
[ Along with the rest of his stuff at that. Rather frustrating. Though to be fair, his stock of gels were dangerously low, so it's not like there's an abundance of first aid items to miss.
It's all enough to make him sigh out loud once. ]

Changge
[ Hey, she has some humor. Tieria likes her better already.
Returning her bow with a nod, he looks around, partly to check out the new part of maze he's at and also to keep a lookout in case some crazy patients decide to storm them. ]
Have you found anything? Everything has been blank pages so far.
no subject
Nothing but blank pages and traps so far where I've looked.
I have made marks along the way so I remember where I have already looked. I'm hoping that there will be something more useful than paper at the end of this maze.
no subject
[ Since really, there's only so much they can search. ]
no subject
[She's just going to start walking.]
If you don't mind me asking, what was your reasoning for choosing 'truth'?
[She is always interested in what people thought.]

Kanda
Suits yourself, those doors are nothing but a nuisance.
[ Tieria heard the noise too and instead of heading for the cabinet, he draws his shotguns with practiced ease, ready to shoot whatever monsters heading their way. ]
Incoming!
no subject
no subject
Stray, two your way. Can you take them?
no subject
[ he doesn't have his sword, having woken up in just the medical gown, but he dives in anyway. they're easier to handle than akuma, if less predictable. kanda takes them down just about as tieria finishes, short of breath and perspiring but not visibly injured. ]

Quatre
This is just how it is here. Play your part when CERES put up all this nonsense tests and glitches and you'll be fine.
[ Except you'll probably need to go through some form of mortal perils first but he's not telling him that. This guy is annoying enough as it is. ]
That's what I've been doing. If you'll stop being paranoid over some fake medical report, I can do just that. [ Looking pointedly at the medical chart. ] Give it here.
no subject
[Quatre is not handing it over. Really. The things this is hinting at, he's not sure he wants the whole Gundam pilot thing to be common knowledge. And clearly at least the people who wrote this know about it.]
You're very determined about this. [He hesitantly hands it over though.] I'm not sure how long I want to play along with this.
no subject
Quatre Raberba Winner, correct? [ Taking another look at the medical chart before he signs it off. ] You seem fine, I suppose some antibiotic to go will be sufficient.
[ Pause. ] Gundamitis huh? I thought it's something embarrassing since you're so paranoid about it.
no subject
[So okay. Good to go. Right? But don't think he doesn't notice that frown. The blond has a knack for reading people, to say the least. But he doesn't push further, not particularly wanting to call attention to what he's most concerned about. Not yet anyway.
It's when the word is read out loud that he hesitates to simply play it off, somewhere between curious and wary.] I don't really think I'd be easily embarrassed by a fake medical chart. It's more the concern that whoever wrote it is trying to say something in particular, in between the lines.
