This would be something he would have experience fighting from another world, though where he came from, this was only the stuff of myths.

"Masamune-dono, we may not have Ame-no-Habakiri, but do you think you can kill it? I don't have space to charge!"

With enough willpower, man could exceed his physical and mental barriers. Energy surges through Masamune, the boost making him feel as if he could be tenka musou himself. Such was the musou gokui state.
Orange flashes blaze through the air, and he darts from a high shelf to another to try to get some hits in onto the serpent's body. It howls, and whenever it lunges, he swiftly maneuvers to change position. He may be acting as a decoy, but he wants to get some good damage in.

"Masamune-dono, get out of the way now!" She shouted over the din of pistols and swords against the scales of the beast. If he turned to look, Masamune would see Nanoha with a massive sphere of magic in front of her, both feet grinding holes into the ground as she struggled to hold it in place, refusing to let the Buster go off before it was large enough, and her ally was out of the way.
"This will be a big one!"

Finding a good spot somewhere above her, he prepares to fire an inferno at the orochi itself.
"Go to hell you wretched snake!!!"

"DIVINE BUSTER!" Came her signature cry, the beam and flames merging together to tear through the orochi. In the end, a mere monster stood no chance against out stalwart heroes.

Julius Vincere and Lucius Octavii are not dead. They were not murdered says her scrap of paper, a tear cutting it off mid-sentence. It's signed "Bellona Recreare" in the corner.
"I wonder what this means? Well, I know what it means but why is this here, and is it true?"

"And we can't just redo this quest. We'll need to get everyone else who took the Truth quest together."

How much would they gain, how much could they lose? Would they be marked and taken out by similar ways?

Nanoha's well aware of the risks. She's dealt with conspiracy before, and experienced plenty of pain and near death experiences. She's not nearly afraid enough of those to not move forward.
