Teeny Weeny String Bikini [OPEN!]

Where: Indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District
What: An indoor waterpark adventure! It's like a beach episode in the middle of the winter! Basically, Nonon wanted to go with just Ryuko but suddenly more people were invited than she intended. Now the word is out, it's not longer a private date for the two, and instead filled with friends, food and swimming!

It all started with a simple text message to Ryuko. Nonon had found a bikini she wanted to wear and heard about an indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District that is heated in the wintertime. And what she had secretly hoped to be a day out between her and her sister's best friend that she might or might not be feeling some sort of unresolved tension with, suddenly grew bigger when she was told to invite Athena. Soon more and more people were invited until it was a small crowd all planning to meet up at the waterpark.




And what a park it is!

With a giant heat lamp in roof overhead it's almost like being at the beach in summer! The change of temperature as soon as you arrive is almost staggering. The heat is a nice change of pace though from the snowstorm that had hit earlier over Christmas, making it all the better reason to rip off your clothes down to your swimsuit and enjoy a day in the water!!

There is plenty to do:

Water slides!

A wave pool!

A hidden grotto with hot tubs for secret rendezvous...

Lazy river!

Deliciously fruity cocktails from the swim-up bar that are known to be deceptively alcoholic...

Some local jerk has even brought food for people to eat, or you can eat at the snack bar!

Sunbathing!

Chicken fights!

And of course, swimming with friends!

Just be careful around the little robotic crabs that move around, as the self-cleaning systems. There's rumors that if they were all to come together in one place they might form into a giant dangerous crab robot that would need to be battled, in some kind of... Crab Battle. So don't do that.

The park closes at 9:00pm, and the sun slowly turns off with sundown, so enjoy a romantic evening lit by underwater lights.

[ Athena's not particularly self-conscious when it comes to clothing, so she's not shy when it comes to showing her body at all. She enters the water park wearing casual winter clothes, but leaves those in the locker and changes into a sky blue tube top and a yellow bikini. Compared to what she usually wears, her trusty necklace Widget is not around. It's not everyday that she doesn't have it on, so it might be a big difference for those who see her often.

She can be found either: ]

a: being sneaky

[You may have found yourself at the top of the slide, or right by the lazy river, unsure if you should jump in. Too bad! Athena has her eyes on you, and is probably getting ready to push you right… about… ]

Now!

[ If she pushes you down the slide, then she'll follow suit right after, even screaming "yeaaaaahhh!!!!!" as both of you go down and crash into the water.

If she pushes you into the lazy river, then she'll cannonball afterwards. EVERYBODY'S BEING LAZY? Too bad. Have some noisy orange/yellow girl disturb the peace.

Alternatively, you can catch her in the act as she's about to push somebody else. ]

b: making more noise

[ Some people might have played chicken, but this girl wants more competition! She might either hit you on the head with a beach ball, throwing the gauntlet down for a volleyball challenge. There's that, or she could be asking to race you in one of the bigger pools. Truthfully, she and anybody else can do this at the gym but WHERE IS THE HYPE OF SUMMER if you don't do dumb stuff like this? Other challenges include 1) seeing who breathes underwater the longest, 2) diving to get something underwater, 3) SURFING IN THE WAVE POOL, or 4) your choice of challenge!

She isn't going to back down! ]

[ Athena is relaxing and is reading a story book! Next to her is a table with a glass of orange mojito, and an entire serving of potato boats. She enjoys making noise and socialising, but she also appreciates some downtime.

You might notice her waving at you, calling you over and offering some snacks or asking to take a selfie with you. Or mistaking you for a waiter and wants a refill of her drink. Oops?

Alternatively, this can be your wildcard option! Feel free to suggest whatever activity to Athena while she's out of the water. ]

[Rock Lee suddenly pops out of the water nearby.]

Athena-san!! I've heard that you were issuing challenges!

[ She's on her back, and is just letting the water take her anywhere, when Lee surprises her and she falls into the water. After struggling for a couple of seconds, her head surfaces, ready to yell at the crazy ninja. ]

What do you think you're doing?! I could've drowned!

[ No, she wouldn't have. ]

[Rock Lee watches carefully for a moment. He's a bit concerned but he also believes in Athena, and he apologetically smiles when she emerges.]

I apologize! I acted in the rashness of youth. But I would have saved you if you were going to drown, so please do not worry!

Just for that, I'm totally going to beat your face in!

[ Awkward pause. ]

I challenge you to a race!

[niceguypose]

[He just stares awkwardly at the threat upon is face. Okay...

The challenge attracts a sparkle in his eyes.]

A- a race?! I accept!! What are the conditions, Athena-san?!

[ She swims to the side and gets out of the water. ]

There's a lap pool nearby. Whoever does five laps wins?

[ ... hmm, that sounds boring. ]

And the loser has to go down the waterslide while confessing something.

[From where he is, Rock Lee flips into the air and lands outside the pool nearby.]

Yosh! I agree to those terms. Ah... It sounds like a fitting use for the lap pool!!

Last one there's a rotten egg!

[ ZOOM. There she goes, running to another part of the park. ]

[ While Nonon might have convince at least two different people to come to the waterpark today to get beat down in some chicken fights, it's not the major draw for the conductor. No, it's relaxing. ...Why she thought inviting all these people including her new temporary roommate Ryuko here with that in mind... she doesn't know. Not that it was ever really supposed to be other people....

But she's going to relax at least for a little while. Those fights were fun but tiring. Which is why she's finishing the last of an ice cream cone, when she is spotted by Athena, calling her to one of those beds.

For a moment she thinks about just... ignoring her, because honestly she's not sure what to say about where Ryuko is staying, or things about Harime or even having to explain why she lied. But for the sake of not pissing off Ryuko by shunning Athena, Nonon approaches her. ]

It looks like you found a comfortable place to hide out here.

[psycholawgy]

[ Athena sets the book down to give Nonon the attention she deserves. It would be rude of her to continue reading now that someone's decided to strike a conversation with her, after all. ]

It's so nice, isn't it? I could just take this back to the apartment and make it my new bed.

[ Except she can't, because that would be stealing. She also can't, because that would mean bringing it to Simon's apartment first while people are still fixing hers. That would just make things even more complicated.

Now that she has Nonon, though, she has to show her gratitude for being invited. She really misses Ryuko, even though they've only known each for two months. It really gets exasperating being separated from all your closest friends. Really, that's been her live since she was eleven years old. ]

Oh, and thanks for inviting me, by the way. It's nice to see Ryuko again.

[ Well, at least Athena knows that Nonon deserves ALL THE ATTENTION, ALL THE TIME. It's why she's so loud, why she loves conducting. But she's not completely impossible to get along with, or at least she'd like to think so. ]

If you're looking for someone to steal something, you're going to need someone a little bigger to help you drag this back I think.

[ She just laughs, plopping down onto the bed without bothering to ask, sitting off the edge with her legs hanging off. ]

Don't mention it. [ She tries to play it cool... but ends up having to set the record straight. ] ...Matoi wouldn't come unless you came too, so you should probably thank her.

[ While it's not necessarily a bad thing, she's a bit confused. So Athena wasn't really in the plans; she was just one of the conditions for Ryuko to go. That was touching, but at the same time, she hoped that it was Nonon personally who wanted her to be there. You just can't have them all! It's nothing that she'd sulk about, though. But it's nice knowing the truth. ]

I guess I'll tell her later, then.

[ She grabs her drink and takes a long sip from the bendy straw. ]

Are you taking a break?

[ It's not like she's trying to not be nice to Athena, because anyone who knows her would already be surprised how Nonon is actually trying to get along with her. She just, doesn't want to lie to Athena, and have Ryuko in her face about it later. Yeah, that's it, no other reason... ]

Something like that. I was getting hungry, and I smelled something good. But it turned out to just be that Archer guy, and he threw swords at me!

[ Huff, huff. ]

What about you? I'm surprised you left Matoi's side at all. [ As if the same couldn't be said of Nonon, who came here with Ryuko, and has been almost a constant at her side. ]

[psycholawgy]

[ Typical Archer. She doesn't even react anymore since it just seems so normal for him to do that.

She does turn red at the mention of leaving Ryuko's side, and it just makes her huffy. ]

I'm— Ryuko can do what she likes, that's all!

And the last time I did something so smothering, Simon told me that I didn't need to do something like that, so...

[shikisha]

[ He's the worst, Nonon figured that out on like day one she met him. Within minutes.

But that reaction is strange! And raises certain questions that Nonon would rather not pop into her head. ]

...I just meant, it looked like you two missed each other. [ Yeah, Nonon had seen them hugging when they met up. So she just laughs a little. ]

I'm amazed she found a friend like you.

Having fun?

[Simon heads over to where Athena is relaxing, handing her an ice cream, before perching at the end of the bed with a fruit smoothie he'd gotten from the bar. He's mostly been lounging, dozing off or watching the teenagers have fun, so now Athena's taking some downtime he takes the opportunity to drop by and check on her.]

Oh, ice cream!

[ Athena normally wouldn't eat ice cream given how cold it is outside, but she's forgotten that it's actually winter with how there's actually a scorching hot fake sun up in the ceiling, amongst other things. She sets the book down on the table and crawls over to where Simon is, taking the ice cream he's offering her. ]

I'm having a great time! It's really nice to see Ryuko again.

[ Really, that's the highlight of her day. ]

I'm impressed. She seems to have kept herself out of trouble thus far, even without your presence to keep her in check.

[Why does he say that like he imagined her to revert back to being a street delinquent...]

I'm sure Nonon has been helping her out. They're living together, after all.

[ She isn't sure if Simon knows about the thing with Nui, but she probably guesses so since it was Ryuko who suggested that she stay with Simon for the time being. ]

[He's known about Nui long before Athena did; what he's not sure of is whether Ryuko has come clean about it to Athena yet.]

Then she's fortunate to have others willing to look out for her.

[ Ryuko really is lucky! She nods, then takes a bite from her ice cream. ]

What about you, are you having fun? It's really weird to be here during winter, but it's a nice change.

Yes, it certainly is a change of pace. [And something else to cross off the bucket list of things he hasn't done in over seven years...]

The clink was rather lacking in swimming pools, much to the disappointment of one of the inmates. He was really quite vocal about it.

[And here was the box girl, with her new water-proof box she had picked up while shopping, approaching Athena at a less-intensity time.]

[she took a sit next to her. Reasoning if she wasn't wanted she'd be asked to leave.]

[ She shifts to move to the edge to give the other some more space. ]
