Teeny Weeny String Bikini [OPEN!]

What: An indoor waterpark adventure! It's like a beach episode in the middle of the winter! Basically, Nonon wanted to go with just Ryuko but suddenly more people were invited than she intended. Now the word is out, it's not longer a private date for the two, and instead filled with friends, food and swimming!

It all started with a simple text message to Ryuko. Nonon had found a bikini she wanted to wear and heard about an indoor waterpark in the Entertainment District that is heated in the wintertime. And what she had secretly hoped to be a day out between her and her sister's best friend that she might or might not be feeling some sort of unresolved tension with, suddenly grew bigger when she was told to invite Athena. Soon more and more people were invited until it was a small crowd all planning to meet up at the waterpark.




And what a park it is!

With a giant heat lamp in roof overhead it's almost like being at the beach in summer! The change of temperature as soon as you arrive is almost staggering. The heat is a nice change of pace though from the snowstorm that had hit earlier over Christmas, making it all the better reason to rip off your clothes down to your swimsuit and enjoy a day in the water!!

There is plenty to do:

Water slides!

A wave pool!

A hidden grotto with hot tubs for secret rendezvous...

Lazy river!

Deliciously fruity cocktails from the swim-up bar that are known to be deceptively alcoholic...

Some local jerk has even brought food for people to eat, or you can eat at the snack bar!

Sunbathing!

Chicken fights!

And of course, swimming with friends!

Just be careful around the little robotic crabs that move around, as the self-cleaning systems. There's rumors that if they were all to come together in one place they might form into a giant dangerous crab robot that would need to be battled, in some kind of... Crab Battle. So don't do that.

The park closes at 9:00pm, and the sun slowly turns off with sundown, so enjoy a romantic evening lit by underwater lights.

a - The Arrival

[ This whole day started with a bikini, and so of course, as soon as Nonon arrives off comes her winter clothes, posing like a model in her new bikini! Nonon isn't the type to be modest, or even shy about being seen in such little clothes, hell, this is more clothing than what she had on when she first came to the colony. She just grins, all too proud of herself, with her color coordinated look from the bright blue skull beret on her head, to the ribbon on the front of her top that matches her pink hair. Accessories are important, something she once tried to convince Ryuko about.

And she arrives with a few friends in tow, on the look out for more that she might have invited. She'll be wandering around a little to stick her legs into the water while sitting on the edge, or going swimming, but first...

Suntan oil. That lamp in the sky might burn, she figures, but someone has to do her back. But who can she ask? ]

b - Who You Callin' A Chicken?!

Ara ara, it looks like we've got a challenger.

[ Nonon touches her lip with her finger, giving about the most smug smile ever. She's on someone's shoulders, of course, given how small she is, but she has confidence in her abilities. Maybe not so much in her partner's though... ]

Oi! Keep still, there's no way we're going to lose to them, you got me?!

[ She yells with confidence at her teammate, before raising her hands up, ready to rumble!! ...Just don't get handsy and touch a boob, then someone really might die. Especially if you're a boy. ]

c - Lazy River Ride

[ Sometime in the middle of the day, Nonon's found the lazy river, and decided to just drift, and relax. This day wasn't exactly like she had planned, with just her and Ryuko, to try to relax and figure out their personal issues... it's not been that bad either, just having friends to hang out with. With her large round sunglasses on, and a cup with a swirly straw that seems to hold some kind of frozen daiquiri, Nonon floats on her red inner-tube lazily, unwinding.

...Just don't splash her or get in her way or there will be hell to pay. ]

d - The Grotto (Closed to Ryuko)

Hey, tenkousei.

[ Sometime as the "sun" above them starts to get softer orange as it heads to dusk, Nonon finds Ryuko near the water, over near the entrance to the grotto. Nonon had heard about it before, that all you had to do was push through some fake vines there to get inside. Finding Ryuko sitting there on the edge too just happened to coincidence, plopping down next to the other girl. ]

So, you had fun didn't you? All that complaining for no reason. [ She likes to be right, and for Ryuko to be wrong. But more than that she's just a little exhausted, and leans up against her friend, without even thinking about what she's doing. ]

[ For someone who initially protested about coming here, Ryuko sure seems to be having fun in her new swimsuit. Yes, even Senketsu is with her, as well as her Scissor Blade, safely stashed away in miniature form. It's been a stressful few weeks ever since certain people arrived, but she's looking forward to unwinding and meeting up with all her friends again. ]



a) Obligatory Suikawari

[ It's not a beach episode without some traditional Japanese games like suikawari. The goal of the game, much like piñata, is to blindfold the participant and spin them around three times. When the game begins, the player has to use a wooden sword to smash open a watermelon on the ground. Sadly, even with Senketsu screaming directions from the sidelines, Ryuko is still disoriented enough to be swinging nowhere near the watermelon, and instead aims at strangers... or even you!!

Alternatively, it could be your character's turn! In which case, Ryuko is being kind enough to cheer you on with directions. It doesn't mean they're helpful, however... ]

b) Obligatory Fanservice

[ At some point in the day, Ryuko is rewarding herself with a popsicle, much to Senketsu's dismay. It's bad enough that living with Nonon has resorted to her eating junk food almost every night, which Senketsu often points out like the invasive piece of clothing that he is. Watch as Ryuko argues about BMI and TMI with seemingly nobody until a piece of the popsicle breaks off and... falls right in between her breasts. ]

K-Kyaa--!! Shit, cold, colddd--!!

[ Ryuko jumps around in a panicked frenzy, with her breasts bouncing and more animated than ever. Your virgin bystander can either catch her loosening her bikini top to shake out the piece of ice, or have Ryuko run into them if you dare. Full breasts-to-face scenario, no holds barred.

Comedic violence guaranteed. Good luck. ]

c) Obligatory Water Slide Mayhem

[ Perhaps the park's most popular attraction are the water slides, as it seems to be the most crowded throughout the day. Ryuko will go on them several times in the day, so feel free to talk to her while waiting in line, partnering up with her, or even challenging her to a race (assuming nobody gets stuck in the tunnel part)!

d) Bonus

[ Whatever Ryuko is doing, whether she's floating in the water, eating her 8th popsicle or tanning by the heatlight... what's an occasion in Cerealia without pop culture references and sexual undertones? Bear witness to Ryuko's extreme discomfort as the public radio plays questionable songs throughout the whole indoor facility. ]

Athena's probably memorised the chorus since it was playing on loop or something while they were waiting in line outside. And she's singing a part of it as she rushes to Ryuko, tears in her eyes. Hug incoming! ]

[ Athena's not particularly self-conscious when it comes to clothing, so she's not shy when it comes to showing her body at all. She enters the water park wearing casual winter clothes, but leaves those in the locker and changes into a sky blue tube top and a yellow bikini. Compared to what she usually wears, her trusty necklace Widget is not around. It's not everyday that she doesn't have it on, so it might be a big difference for those who see her often.

[You may have found yourself at the top of the slide, or right by the lazy river, unsure if you should jump in. Too bad! Athena has her eyes on you, and is probably getting ready to push you right… about… ]

[ If she pushes you down the slide, then she'll follow suit right after, even screaming "yeaaaaahhh!!!!!" as both of you go down and crash into the water.

If she pushes you into the lazy river, then she'll cannonball afterwards. EVERYBODY'S BEING LAZY? Too bad. Have some noisy orange/yellow girl disturb the peace.

[ Some people might have played chicken, but this girl wants more competition! She might either hit you on the head with a beach ball, throwing the gauntlet down for a volleyball challenge. There's that, or she could be asking to race you in one of the bigger pools. Truthfully, she and anybody else can do this at the gym but WHERE IS THE HYPE OF SUMMER if you don't do dumb stuff like this? Other challenges include 1) seeing who breathes underwater the longest, 2) diving to get something underwater, 3) SURFING IN THE WAVE POOL, or 4) your choice of challenge!

She isn't going to back down! ]

[ Athena is relaxing and is reading a story book! Next to her is a table with a glass of orange mojito, and an entire serving of potato boats. She enjoys making noise and socialising, but she also appreciates some downtime.

You might notice her waving at you, calling you over and offering some snacks or asking to take a selfie with you. Or mistaking you for a waiter and wants a refill of her drink. Oops?

[ Kyouko shows up in a black swimsuit with ruffles on both the bottom and top chosen by Nonon—and yes, she's wearing her gloves too. Instead of the usual long braid with her hair down, however, Kyouko has her hair tied back. She's a little nervous going to a get together like this, since it's not really something she ever does, but she doesn't show it and instead opts for quietly making herself known by spreading out a towel and setting her bag down.

For a while, Kyouko will be sitting on her towel watching as people arrive. ]

b - water slide;

[ At several points throughout the day, Kyouko can be seen eyeing the various water slides around park. But she hasn't ever been on one, so she isn't sure if she wants to go through with it.

Sure, she can go headfirst into deadly situations, but a water slide? She might need a little convincing. ]

c - lazy river;

[ Kyouko is definitely enjoying this lazy river. She has a mystery novel out as she relaxes in the inner tube, sipping on a fruity drink. To be able to relax like this after everything... It's really nice.

Feel free to yell out to her, run into her, or even splash her. Of course, doing either of the last two might prompt her into a water fight, so be careful. She can be relentless. ]

[I know what you're wondering. How. How could my character have heard about this waterpark rendezvous? It's simple, that morning, after Rock Lee woke up, he shouted into the CereVice.]

Everyone!! Let's all go to the indoor waterpark today!! Today is a day to be young!!

[That's it. That's the message. Directions are also provided!]

A. Walking on Water

[Rock Lee shows up promptly, wearing a simple pair of green swim trunks. Watch him go through some stretches by the poolside! And catch him either swimming or running on water! He'll stop to greet anyone he meets with a smile, sometimes standing still on the water itself to do so.]

Ah, hello! Isn't this refreshing and youthful? [A thumbs up and a sparkle!

Of course, he may also accidentally run right into you.]

B.Lazy Determination River

[Rock Lee is swimming in the lazy river. Specifically, he's trying to swim against the current, and he will try to pull any nearby tubes along with him. He is full of determination.]

We cannot give in to this 'lazy river'! Please!! We must work hard!

[Feel free to run into Lee anywhere in the park! He can show up to act as crab defense, he can barrel into the water slides, he can cluelessly wander into the hidden grotto, he'll be all over the place!]

[ Nonon just stands at the edge of the pool, watching the boy WALKING ON WATER. She's dressed in her bikini, looking all too adorable she believes, in her bright blue with white ruffles, and a white and pink bow on the front of her chest. But seeing the boy she invited so clearly breaking physics makes her stomp her foot on the ground indignantly, yelling out to him loudly. ]

A - Swimming

[What is that deathly pale creature stalking around the edge of the pool--! ... Oh, it's just Simon Blackquill.

To the surprise of no one, he's as allergic to colour as ever, wearing black board shorts. More notably, there's large array of bruising down his back. When questioned, he'll just shrug it off as a 'work injury'. Which isn't necessarily untrue, he's just omitting details.

Like being attacked by a Nazi vampire. Details.

It's not a fresh injury, so it won't impede his ability to swim too much, although when he gets into the pool to start swimming laps, it's a little more gingerly than usual.]

B - Hidden Grotto

[When he's had enough of being surrounded by excitable teenagers, he goes off to the grotto to claim one of the hot tubs. You can find him relaxing with his arms resting on the edge of the tub... and soon he doesn't seem to be moving at all, even when approached. Maybe he's fallen asleep? It's kind of hard to tell with that mane of wet hair plastered around his eyes.

Troll him? Try to wake him up? Leave him alone to nap/mope/whatever he's doing???]

C - Poolside

[...Or maybe you can find him sitting by the poolside with a drink, reading a book gifted to him entitled The Rise and Fall of the Shinsengumi. What a nerd.]

[After separating himself from Rin for a while (probably pawning her off to Lee), Archer takes a moment to get a bit of exercise. And of course, with his super sharp eyes, doesn't miss a thing.]

[Nanoha had not been invited, nor had she even heard Rock Lee's announcement. It was just her off day, she had bought a cute bikini, and she liked the beach in general. Besides, she had been spending lots of time in ViViD, and she could really do with more sun.]

A. Getting a tan

[She's spread out on a beach chair, taking in the rays of the artificial sun. There's a ridiculously tall glass next to her filled with a (probably highly alcoholic) drink that seemed to be a different colour every time you look at it, which she takes a long, satisfying drink from.

A nice break from the stress of moving and constant simulator training. Takamachi Nanoha worked hard, and she made up for it by playing hard. Although really, her work was pretty much play too.]

Hey, [she asks the next friendly face] there seems to be some kind of event going on, do you know anything about it?

B. CRAB BATTLE!

[At some point later in the day, Nanoha can be found looking extremely troubled. One of the cleaner crabs had gotten hold of the string on her bikini's panties and the cloth is starting the slide down. She's seen it happen before and has no intention of giving everyone more of a free show than she already is, but she's stuck.

She can't pull it off because its grip was too tight and would tear the string in two. She can't coax it into letting go because who even knows how robot crabs react to stimuli. She could just blast it, but that would cause a scene and she didn't want to destroy private property if she could at all help it.

But it slides another half a centimetre down and there's a pink light emanating from her left hand. Quick! Somebody stop her before she causes a boss battle to start!]

[Someone here didn't care if a crab battle started. On the other hand, he knows the destructive power of magic and the fact that they were in an enclosed environment.

So he'd rather just spear the crab with an arrow. Or rather, completely shatter it. Considering that Archer was quite a ways away minding his nabe pot, it was a ridiculously ace shot. Or, if you were an Archer, a stupidly simple one since he could pop an arrow on target from four kilometers away.

Either way, yes, he is very clearly keeping trouble from starting. And....reducing property damage. All the while without his normal armor and cloak. He was feeling ridiculously naked despite having a somewhat stylish wear.]

[Archer, having been not only dressed by Rin, but having her ruin his hair because she didn't want to see that spikiness on a water vacation, was certainly out of his element. No, he didn't really enjoy wearing this mess.]

1. No Nabe Shogun

[Basically Archer doesn't feel like doing too much in the way of associating. So he did the next best thing while here. Which was to bring a massive nabe pot and a portable stove. Also a large cooler full of ingredients. And proper eating utensils. It was a lot of hard work but better than having everyone pay for food and stuff.

However, he is doling it out himself. He is the Nabe shogun, which means no complaints. His crossed arms and glare are practically daring someone to try to steal some food from here.]

Yes, it's free. You may as well enjoy it while you can because I doubt you'll get this anywhere else.


2. Pool...

[Okay, yes, once the time of serving food is over and people seem to have had enough, he finally takes time to slide into the pool. Probably with a Rin attached to his back or nearby looking like a 5 year old on their first day out.

The shallow end is the place to chill out though. Mostly to just sit down in the water and make sure no one splashes him in the eyes since he's kind of on level with those kinds of travesties.

Really, don't splash him.]

[Well, always count on Ai to have food catch her notice. Unfortunately, when the food is being made by the person you haven't spoken to in weeks due to a certain Winter Ball incident, it's hard to build up an appetite for it. But... food...

It's been long enough. And it's not like they have to make up now and Ai feels like he probably won't bring it up and that she can at least strike up a conversation first. So she comes over already dressed in a one piece, hands, behind her back and shuffling her feet.]

_{[ Nobody expected somebody to arrive at this sort of get-together dressed in this, and yet, here Katsura is-- sunglasses, hat, everything. He kept his hair loose and untied, and a large back pack was strapped over his shoulders. You'd think he would be going camping for weeks with how many items he had with him. Something about him seemed particularly pleasing today-- and he even had sunscreen on his nose.
His fingers wrapped around the straps of his back pack as he spoke. ]}

What is it you want to do first?

_{[ One would think that he would be talking to either you or himself, but you're wrong. A small kitten accompanied him right by his ankles and had on a small leash. With a low chuckle, he broke the silence as he spoke again: ]}

Ha ha haaa, you're such a kidder. You're too small to go down the water slide, even with mother's consent.
_{[ Why so many items? Why outfit? Why kitten? Go ahead and ask-- looks like he is wandering to find the perfect spot. ]}

B. I'VE GOT CRABS

C. GROTTO TIME

_{[ Here was a place for him to reside in nothing swim trunks alone. Yes, nice and alone time. Even then he was probably talking to himself, but for now, Katsura had sunken in his seat with his arms outstretched behind him. A small towel was folded over his eyes-- complete relaxation, terrorists needed that once in awhile.
Join him? Disturb his tranquility? Comment on his nipples? Go on, it'll be embarrassing. ]}

[Peko, wearing her usual black bikini, turns at the sound of Katsura's voice, rather assuming he's talking to her. Are they having a meeting now...? That would make sense, considering no one would suspect anything in such a crowded, lighthearted place.

Then she notices the tiny kitten, and there's an audible gasp as her eyes go wide. It's so small and fluffy. Oh my god. She needs it.]

[Peko can be found pretty much anywhere in the pool -- she seems to have taken the opportunity to explore a new pool by... swimming laps. She's literally just doing laps around the pool, and has been doing so for at least the last hour without showing any sign of tiring or stopping. Someone please help her by showing that there's things to do besides swim at a pool party... or at least join her as she starts her next lap.

She also is swimming with a sword bag on her back. What a loser.]

b - poolside
[Apparently she does eventually take a break from swimming, whether due to her own idea, or someone finally convincing her that no, socializing is good, stop doing laps. At the moment, she's seated on one of the beach chairs with her katana drawn across her lap and a pile of dirty rags on the seat next to her. Though she's still keeping a careful eye on the party itself -- really, she's watching to make sure no one forces Kuzuryuu into water that's too deep, and that no one's being gross and pestering the girls in their swimsuits -- more of her attention seems to be on the blade itself as she wipes it down with oil.

Her black bikini really doesn't cover much, though she doesn't seem self-conscious about it. Even with the pale scars criss-crossing her front and back, many of them looking like they had been cuts or stabs before they'd healed, she doesn't seem to be making any effort to hide them. At least her hair, down from its usual braids, kind of covers the more fatal-looking stabs in her back?]

c - grotto
[Unlike some others, at finding the heated pool in the grotto, Peko's not exactly looking to sneak away with anyone. She seems to have taken it to be like a hot spring, relaxing back against one of the walls. Her sword isn't on her back this time, but instead in its bag on the ground just above her head; she has one hand back resting on the bag itself, though, so don't think she's not paying attention even if she looks relaxed. Feel free to pester her! Just don't try to steal the sword, she won't find that funny.]

d - choose your own adventure!
[Peko can be found anywhere in the park, likely looking a little confused at the water slides or the lazy river. The slides look fun but dangerous, and the river... what the heck, that looks boring. Or maybe you managed to catch her at the snack bar! Hope the drink she's looking for is non-alcoholic.]

[ Somewhere on her 15th lap, Peko's head will collide with a volleyball courtesy of one Ryuko Matoi. She wasn't even particularly playing the game, this is just her way of awkwardly breaking the ice with Peko yet again.

One of these days, she'll greet her normally. Maybe when Peko isn't being a weirdo about something. So probably never. ]

[Swimsuits? Who needs swimsuits when you can inexplicably dress up like a pirate (Complete with hand-drawn doodle of Phoenix taped to pirate hat). She even looks kind of cute, (if you ignore the scratches on her arms and... some kind of long scar half-visible across her stomach - why are you looking there anyway, weirdo?) though this outfit is going to get completely soaked at this rate. Someone apparently decided this was close enough to a bathing suit.]

[In fact, she's either rushing for the food or the slides, but that hat is either about to fall off or possibly getting knocked off and right into you]

[This could be a perfect opportunity to catch her off guard, however. Maybe even take revenge for any shenanigans she may have caused.]

[Are you taller than Maya? Probably, she's short. Either way, she's tugging at your arm insistently. If you're relatively tall, she's probably looking at you longingly, as if you might let her piggyback if she stares into your soul long enough.]

But she's still prepared and did as she was requested: brought snacks, her swimsuit (there she is at the far right, last girl!), and a discreet weapon, just in case (apparently). Now that's all done...]

A: LOUNGING

[Vietnam's been on many adventures lately, and she would LIKE TO REST FOR A WHILE. Which would mean she's probably just lying back on one of these luxurious beach beds by the bar. Wait a minute, is that a beach bed hammock? It sure is, and it's really great.

She's also got her snacks out and a fancy looking juice of some sort, so she holds out a packet of rice crackers out.]

[Okay fine, she can't spend the entire time here lying in a beach bed hammock so she could be spotted in the water now. Now, the following could happen:

3. Standing at the top of the slide and looking at it disastrously. She's not afraid, she just has a bad feeling about this considering all the people here.

[LIVING THE HIGH LIFE, VIETNAM.

Edgeworth, wearing only red board shorts, lowers his sunglasses when Vietnam offers him some rice crackers. Ah - her face is familiar, he saw her somewhere before, but they probably haven't been properly introduced.

Why would she offer him crackers, though, if they barely knew each other? So for a moment, he blinks.]

[A classmate invited him so of course Gundam was going to show up, even if water wasn't his strong suit. He's sporting a pair of plain, knee-length black swim shorts and...is he really still wearing a scarf? He sure is. Looks like some kind of waterproof material, and it's much shorter than the one he normally wears. Thankfully there are no hamsters in this one. No small animals will be drowning today. Something he's missing though are the bandages usually wrapped around his left arm. At least he had the mind not to wear something like that, revealing a large number of small scars mottling his skin from his fingers to just above his elbow. Huh, wonder what all of those are from?

He's also come prepared for battle the pool! That's definitely an inner tube he's got hooked around his arm and a pair of goggles sitting on his forehead.]

A. Poolside

[A...lot of Gundam's time is spent on the side of the pool rather than in the water. There's a chair that may as well have his name on it, he's sulking sitting in it so often. Just sort of watching everyone else...maybe his friends abandoned him or something? Or maybe he's just looking for something to do!

No, truthfully he's just very intimidated by the environment. This place is a hell of a lot bigger than an "indoor pool"... Kuzuryuu what the fuck? There are also a hell of a lot more people here than he was expecting. He thought this was going to be a...slightly smaller affair. And...well. Maybe he's not that great at swimming. He's of course gotten in some practice since agreeing to come, but his improvement isn't much to write home about.

But maybe you're coming across him while he's trying to talk himself into getting into the water! He's sitting on the edge, just dangling his feet in the water. The water doesn't look to be too deep and plus he's got this floatation device around his waist...probably not too bad. Probably.

Join him in people watching? Bug him? It's not like he's got anything better to do!]

B. Lazy River

[Okay, despite his trepidation about swimming, this seemed like something he could enjoy. It's...kind of like the merry-go-round of water parks! Nothing nearly as terrifying as the water slides or wave pool, just nice and relaxing...the Devas would have enjoyed this. Maybe he'll return some time with them.

You can catch him floating along the river, seemingly relaxed (maybe he's even sleeping??) though his hands are keeping a firm grip on the inner tube provided. Just in case.]

[Okay in all fairness...while describing it as an "indoor pool" instead of a water park is 100% Kuzuryuu's bad (though he did say he'd never been inside), he didn't know there were going to be this many people either. He was definitely expecting something smaller as well.]

[Kuzuryuu is already in the water when Gundam comes over and sticks his feet in. So upon catching sight of the taller boy, he walks over to the edge.]

[Edgeworth is here not because he wanted to go, but because he got dragged over by his friends. WHAT ARE FRIENDS FOR? So what else is new? The cold was stifling and warmth was a welcome change from the dreary weather outside, though, so it didn't take long for him to relent and allow himself to be dragged to the pool party. Look, if he has to have fun, he'll do it on his own terms.

...and by that we mean IGNORE HIS TERMS AND PULL HIM INTO YOUR SHENANIGANS.]

You can find Edgeworth, clad in a plain white shirt and red board shorts lounging in a deck chair with a good book. On the nearest table is a glass of iced tea topped with one of those fancy paper umbrellas. Judging from how damp his hair is, he's been in the pool previously and is taking a break. And he even has a pair of cool sunglasses on, wow.

Edgeworth isn't interested in the slides or games or whatever (but you can change that). Instead, he deliberately chooses to stay in the deeper end of the pool, away from the crowds. There, he can swim laps and relax. He's not fast but hey, he does well enough, thank you very much.

His shirt is off and for anyone who would care to notice, there is a faint scar on his stomach, the remnant of a nearly fatal stab wound successfully treated by surgery.]

[If it's isn't for Rin who invited him over, he might not be here. But look at this, he prepared himself with his Hawaiian Outfit, ready to enjoy himself here. As he steps inside, he can already feel the air. People are playing around. Hot babes with bikinis everywhere. Isn't this a heaven for people like him? You can find Lancer is doing some sightseeing and sometimes picking up on girls.]

[Of course, the reason he's being here is because of Rin. That "killer message" saying she'd kill him if he does not say hi still bothers him somehow, so as he enjoy himself he keeps his eyes open if he sees a blondie walking around.]

II. The Bar

[It's Lancer thing, supposedly. He's watching over people play around as he drinks up his cocktails. Match his outfit, huh? Someone who care to accompany him drinking feel free to hit him up.]

III. Hidden Grotto

[As he plays around, Lancer finds himself wanting to relax himself in the hot tubs. Ah, sometimes he is gregarious but he's an expert loner as well. He used to fish by himself all the time anyway. So a "me time" is important for Lancer too. Closing both of his eyes, he can finally feel at ease. Someone, feel free to ruin his private time or say hi and enjoy a good time with him.]

Lancer..! [ He sticks out like a sore thumb to someone who is always aware of her surroundings. Sprinting across the pool in a green bikini with ruffles and inflatable floats along her arms, Rin stops short of him with a bright smile. ]

[Myriam had arrived in her usual outfit: winter clothes + her cardboard box. True to her word, Myriam had picked out a bathing suit. A modest two-piece black bikini, the bottoms of which stretched up to cover her navel and the straps of her top were thick enough not to twist. It stood as sharp contrast to her pale complexion.

Of course, no one would see it in its entirety because Scuttlebutt, being Scuttlebutt, had managed to acquire another large box to wear. This one was made of white Styrofoam, and still had on a label that said: "Dry Ice! Keep cool! Do not expose to water! Do not touch!" There was even a helpful diagram.

She had cut open a slat for eye-holes and for her arms, though. She also carried a small waterproof pack with her.]

a. Arrival

[Phase one would consist of mingling. Seeing who she recognized and who to possibly avoid. Also who could potentially be relaxed enough to leak a last minute scoop! Even in times of relaxation, Scuttlebutt never stopped looking for more newspaper story-fodder.]

b. Wallflower

[Phase two would consist of... sitting awkwardly off to the side. She was pretty sure the box was okay, and had confirmed in emergencies it could be used as a flotation device, but why chance it?]

c. Stealth Mode

[Phase three, now curious if she could actually use the box as she normally did, she would drop down and see if she could remain still long enough to potentially fool or eavesdrop on anyone...

...which she'd give up after a few minutes, reminded painfully of why she always wore kneepads when in her normal box.]

d. Wading

[Finally, (maybe in response to some prodding/urging/cajoling, she would attempt to swim...

...or at least maybe dip a toe in the water at least. Depended really on how much encouragement she got.]

e. Interview Mode

[Time to interview random people and see if they thought the park was all that cracked up to be. She'd have her pen and notepad from her pack for this one, and keep her digital camera on stand-by]

[Nanoha watched Myriam for a while, trying to figure out what would drive a person to come to an indoor water park and spend most of the day hiding in what had to be an extremely warm box. (Styrofoam was a strong insulator!) The curious reverie was eventually broken however, when she found an extremely good reason to speak to her.]

Um. Miss? I think the robot crabs are starting to cut your box up. I think they believe it's rubbish.

[If there's a party, Larry's bound to be there causing trouble, and this pool party is no exception! He even went out and bought some new (very orange) swim trunks for the occasion! Only because he didn't have any until today, but still.

So here Larry is, dragging along some friends to join in the fun! No being homebodies today, Phoenix and Edgeworth.]

A) at the bar

[Look, this location is probably Larry's best bet for finding some people closer to his age to chat with. He's really starting to feel his age with all these teenagers around...

But let's be real, he's mostly just hoping to spot some beauties swimming up to the bar too. So he's acting totally casual as he sips on his cocktail and leans up against the bar counter. Occasionally, he'll speak up to anyone else stopping for a drink.]

This sure beats the cold, huh? I can get used to cool tech like this!

[There are indoor pools, and then there are indoor pools: CERES style. It's a difference, okay?]

B) Larry NO

[You know what happens when you have a little liquid courage in you? You start doing some really reckless but potentially awesome stuff. Larry will not be doing the latter in this situation, but he wants to pretend that he is.

That reckless and not at all awesome thing he's doing is...attempting to surf down the water slide on a paddle board from the wave pool.]

Banzaaaaiii--!!

[With a running start, and nearly slipping and falling on his butt in the process, he leaps toward the slide and slides the board under his feet to attempt to surf. He makes it about halfway down before losing his balance and falling right off the side of the slide and into the deep end of the pool.

...Sorry if he accidentally landed on you, but at least he managed to land inside the pool rather than the concrete?]

C) hidden grotto

[A little sore from his idiotic attempt to look cool, Larry spends quite a while in the warm, soothing waters of the grotto. He's allowed himself to sink down up to his nose, though much of his face that's above water is still covered up by his wet, flat hair. He almost might seem unrecognizable without the signature spiky hair.

While he stays quiet during most of his time in the grotto, he's not opposed to chatting if someone settles in around him.]

[Anything you can think of goes here! When not grouped up with his friends (or even while grouped up with his friends), Larry's usually around doing something dumb, so he's going to be up for chicken fights, beach games, watergun wars, pranks, you name it. He's an easy target for catching off guard and pushing into the pool or hitting in the face with water balloons/guns, so there's that.]

[Phoenix Wright is here a bit reluctantly. He's wearing blue swimming shorts along with a white button-up shirt.

He's not in much of a rush- mostly he just wants to make sure the kids don't get into any trouble. So he'll largely linger by the poolside, doing one of several activities. One is that he may be lounging in a chair and trying to get a tan from the fake sun.

The other is that he may be sitting along the edge of the pool, skimming his feet through the water as he talks up a friend. Oh and he might have one or two of those fruity drinks, too.]

B. Lazy River

[The main attraction he goes for is the lazy river. Wearing just his bathing suit and a pair of sunglasses, Phoenix drifts on in his tube.

...He might be there for quite a while. It may be hard to tell from the sunglasses, but Phoenix ends up falling asleep entirely while drifting down the lazy river. So, give him a hand maybe?]

A-Sunbathing and Relaxing

[Rei had come, of course, whenever Athena and or Ryuko had mentioned it as it just happened to fall on a day off. That was important, of course, since she was providing for two now. But a day off with Minako seemed like a nice thing, and it'd been ages since she'd gone to a beach with the gang so it's nice to just go and stretch out. She's a little surprised to find a bathing suit just like one she had at home. It wasn't particularly revealing, and it suited her well.

She's mostly taking this as an opportunity to relax, while sipping one of those mildly alcoholic drinks. She's not entirely aware of it at first, but it is what it is so after she realizes it she's just going to keep on doing it. With a faint blush to her cheeks she's happily sunning herself poolside with a book.

Of course, she's not being very sociable, and she's dangerously close to the water, so pulling her in or splashing her? Totally a possibility with minimal effort on the troublemaker's part.]

B-Lazy River

[With that plan foiled, Rei gets onto the lazy river, hoping to avoid further mishaps and appear that she's being sociable in some way. She's got a drink in hand, some sort of smoothie, and she's laying on her bright red inner tube, floating on by. She'll wave at anyone she sees though.]

Relaxing yes? This is actually nicer than I remember.

C-The Grotto

[Oh! How nice! A quiet place to relax that's just a little bit secluded. And hot tubs are just what Rei likes best about these sorts of places. She heads right there and drops in, and it's not long before her head is lolled back against the edge, eyes closed in bliss, and her feet are propped up in a decidedly unladylike fashion. This is pretty much heaven.

If you care to relax with her, she'll welcome the company, and she may be a little less grumpy than usual, a combination of actually being relaxed and the lingering effects of that drink. And if you're a friend? Well, she may just fix you with her most winning and genuine smile of all as she opens the conversation with something suitably cheesy.]

Rin's always presented herself as a tough and independent person who didn't need any help in any subject whatsoever so today will be no different in that regard. Even if she's spending an awful lot of time on her Cerevice watching videos or sending death threats, there are times she'll be sitting near the edge of the water. ]

[ And most of those times are spent suffering due to poor decisions. If it's not a leg cramp from kicking too hard, then it's an upset stomach that's made her face flush the same color as her bathing suit. This swimming thing is new to her--why, she hasn't played around water since she was a little girl. She probably knew how to swim during that time too, but her memory's a bit hazy. Must be an after effect of the Moon Cell, she's convinced herself. ]

[ At first it starts with just two inflatable rings around her forearms, but soon more are piled on her by various people. There's a life vest covering up most of her two piece, multiple floats adorning her arm, and even an inner tube around her waist. He's still got a t-shirt on and everything even if he is wearing swim trunks... what's with that.

[Holy shit this place is a lot bigger than he was expecting and there are a lot more people than he was expecting as well. And apparently two of their classmates are gone too. But he's not going to let any of those things get to him, nope. He came here to have fun with his friends and kick Nonon's ass at chicken, and that's exactly what he intends to do.]

[He's wearing a pair of black, knee-length swimtrunks with white dragon motifs up the sides as well as a black t-shirt which he'll even wear into the water. Because apparently there's nothing in this world that can make him take that off, for some god unknown reason. Since he's not wearing long sleeves for once, you can finally see a number of scars all over his right forearm, which appear to have been made by seemingly random jabs and cuts from some kind of blade.]

[Kuzuryuu really doesn't do well in the cold, which probably isn't all that hard to guess given how small the boy is. Not a whole lot of natural insulation. So he's definitely enjoying the higher temperatures in here, spending a great deal of time just lounging in one of the lounge chairs and enjoying the heat lamp.]

b. Pool
[Eventually though, he will wander over to the pool itself, though he's definitely not the type to jump right in. He seems content enough just to dip his feet in. When he does finally get all the way in the water (still wearing his t-shirt, mind you), he sticks to the shallow end, not actually swimming so much as he's just...walking around or leaning against the edge of the pool. He's definitely avoiding going any deeper than his feet will touch.]

c. Grotto
[Hot springs? No, not quite, but it's warm and secluded so he'll take it. He's just sitting in one of the hot tubs, arms spread out behind him on the tub's edge and leaning his head back. One almost might think he's asleep, given how his eyes are closed and how relaxed he is for once. Feel free to join him, there's still plenty of room in the tub.]

c. CRAB BATTLE

[ but of course, nui's short attention span and twisted sense of fun means that she's not keen on being harmless for long. she'll be one of the catalysts for rounding up the crabs together, watching in awe and laughing as she watches it form into the gigantic crab mecha. ]
