[ It goes without saying that he’s been checking up on her a little more frequently lately, after her ill-advised trek out in a snowstorm that one time. He didn’t want to interfere with her, but sometimes he just needed some visual confirmation that she was, in fact, all right.

So here he is now, outside her doorstep—after having messaged her ahead of time to let her know he was coming—and without any intention of dropping a gift and running away this time. That gift of his is, as a matter of fact, nicely tucked away between his fingers—a tiny spray of forget-me-nots, just because he can’t ever resist spoiling her with stupid, sentimental little gifts like these. ]

Open up, Lily! I got something for ya.

[The messages was something she did receive but was in the middle of napping. So she checked it and then fell back asleep. Lily loved seeing Koujaku, he was always really nice to her, and with her current living situation she would never say no to company. Even if she was a little grumpy when she heard the door, at least she perks up at the voice.

Walking to the door she yawns in her nightshirt as she pulls it open. Looking up she then remembers the message and blinks.]

[ Isn’t that supposed to be improper? Geez, Lily. Be grateful he isn’t a creeper. ]

Hey there, beautiful. Were you in the middle of something? [ Because between the nightgown and her hair…it’s like she just got out of bed or something. ]

[She could really handle herself if it was...]

Hi Kou! I was napping, but I'm up now! [and wants to play, that much was for sure. Because yay company.]

[ Good thing she hasn't sicced Bandersnatch on him, then… ]

Nah, you're not up yet. [ He'll just stick his flowers behind her ear and—whoops, betcha she didn't expect him picking her up off the ground just like that, did she? ]

Huh? [Confused she then feels him lifting her. With a giggle she holds onto what she can as she throws a smile at him.]

Yeah! [Lily adored being up on other people, she loves when Koujaku picks her up. She does pick up on the flowers though.]

What are those?

[ And he does so love carrying her around… ]

Forget-me-nots. [ And he'll just be adjusting his grip so she can sit nicely on his arms without falling off. ]

They remind me of your eyes.

Oh... [A master of balance now form years of being carried she looks at the flowers before she blushes.]
