[ It was probably a weird time to call for a date, what with the change in management in CERES proper, but it was a break he felt they both needed, in a way. He barely knew about her own feelings regarding the changes going around this place, but she’d been a familiar and comforting presence since his early days here.

He needed to talk to her. Now or never, right?

He’d sent her a message about a few days earlier, informing her of the time and place—some indoors number eager to capitalize on a variety of noodle dishes soused in the almost familiar marinara, XO, and sesame dressing, even as it featured some more outlandish sauces derived from the CERES Gardens and, it was purported, from the jungles beyond.

Mostly he hopes she won’t order anything too weird, because if he has a panic attack at the Noodle Emporium it’ll make for a pretty awkward date.

But yes.

He looks up from the street corner where he’d been standing on, waving to her as he spots her in the crowd. ]

Yo, Vietnam! Over here!

[Date is what they call outings nowadays too, no? At least this is what Vietnam has been assuming the whole time after Koujaku had contacted her. It was a promise, after all, to go on one, since they kept pushing things onto each other. And really, after all the work she's had to do regarding Valentine's Day along with CERES' restructuring, it was a welcome request.

She's made sure to come one time, and had started looking for him when she hears his voice. Ah, there he is! A small wave back, and she quickly weaves through the crowd, until she reaches him. There! She's dressed about as appropriately as she could be for any food date too: casually. A cute skirt though, since much of her peers around her have been an interesting influence (looking at you in particular, Kashuu).

And she's so ready to try some of these interesting noodle dishes out. Even the crazy ones, though isn't that usually reserved for later outings. Hmm...]
