Who: Chuutarou Kumou (
littlestcloud) & whoever!
When: Backdated to IC 1/28, though can be after too
Where: All around the city
What: Tenka has been gone for a while, so Chuutarou is putting up "Lost Brother" posters.
Rating/Warning: None!
[ Maybe you were out shopping, or on your way to work, but wherever you are you might notice something out of place. Are those posters taped haphazardly across... well. Nearly everything? It's probably an overzealous pet owner, you might think, or a new store advertising its existence. Then you get closer and--

If you follow the trail, you'll find Chuutarou (and any poor person he may have gotten to help him) taping them up wherever he can reach.
Join him? Question his sanity? Call in to report a tip? ]

From where the posters have been taped (low to the ground), and the handwriting on them.
She can't help but smile, expression softening as she observes him... but she'll finally step in when she notices him struggling to tape up one in particular that's not going quite as high as he wants.
She steps behind him and gently reaches for it, but doesn't snatch it out of his hand. That'd be mean! ]
Can I help?
no subject
Yes please! Ten-nii always said it's funner and easier with more people.
[ So he'll move to the side so she can work without him in the way, and once she has the poster well in hand Chuutarou will grab the stack of posters and tape roll he left on the ground. ]
My name is Chuutarou, by the way. What's yours?

What are you doing?
[Ah, Sousei is still so good with kids.]

I'm putting up posters, Sou-nii!
[ maybe you need glasses, Sousei... you'd think it'd be obvious what he's doing, what with all the posters everywhere. ]

Who would do this.... Oh.
Wherever Chuutarou is in the city today, at some point Kagami is just going to turn up. He took the poster with him, apparently solely to wave it lazily in Chuutarou's face.]
Your handwriting sucks. [hi buddy]
/assumes this is just after the intro
After a quick moment to recover his balance Chuutarou finally looks over at Kagami enough to recognize the poster and who holds it.
Then he lights up (and totally ignores the comment)] Hi Kagami! Did you find Ten-nii?!
[ It's not like you and your fishfingers can do any better--]
/thumbs up

"Crabhead"? Does he seriously respond to that?

Yeah! Sou-nii calls him it all the time, plus some of his friends call him that too.

But these posters clearly aren't Sousei's handwork. So when he sees someone else putting them up instead, it starts to make a lot more sense. He even vaguely remembers seeing this kid around before, huh..?
Shinpachi squats down to seem a little less intimidating. ]
Yo. That guy.. Do you think he's hiding that well?
no subject
Ten-nii is the best at anything, so if he wanted to hide this good he could! [ a pause, then a more solemn tone ] But all of us tried his phone and looked around for him, and Sou-nii said he must have left for a while. But!! Sou-nii also said he would always come back for us, and the lady on tv said posters help lost family members come home faster, since people can lead them home! So I'm putting some up for Ten-nii.

backdated to after the blind date, if that's not too far forward...
[Peko's just on her way to work when she spots Tenka's face out of the corner of her eye. For just an instant, her heart leaps in excitement, before she recogizes it as a picture and bothers to read the text. "Lost brother," is it...?
A glance further down the street reveals just who's putting the posters up, and for a second, she thinks it's Soramaru. Today's a day for being wrong, it seems, as this kid is a good bit shorter, but still clearly related to the older two Kumou.]
Kumou Chuutarou?
[The assumption she feels comfortable making after narrowing down the poster. Don't mind this really intense-looking teenager staring down at him, sword bag on her back as always.]
No, no, that's fine! He'll renew the posters that get ripped down. It's v him too
Chuutarou jolts slightly, the poster he had been sticking coming out crooked now. He'll pout at the less-than-perfect-for-his-brother poster, before perking up because what if she found him?]
Yes, Nee-chan? What is it?
[ Look at all that hope you'll probably crush!! ]

And totally end up accidentally throwing posters all over the sidewalk. ]
Sora-nii! Did you come to help?

It's entirely by chance that they're taping the poster on the same tree, just on opposing sides. It takes him a second to realize there's someone tiny behind that tree... It's a kid...? ]
H-Hey, sorry..... Is... Is this tree taken, or...?
oh my god Jaune you are perfect
Chuutarou had noticed there were extra posters in places he hadn't gone to yet, but he had thought Soramaru had come around to the idea and started to help. He hadn't really expected to find a blonde stranger out here ...also putting up posters....?
What a weird coincidence. ]
Not...not really? Are you putting something up too? [ He'll punctuate the statement with a wave of his own stack of posters, Tenka clear to see on them. ]
no you
no subject
Look, he's not exactly friends with Tenka or anything, he knows him as a Kumou from the future who also knows his maybe-but-probably-not-descendant. And he finds him annoying, there's that.
He can't help but follow the trail though, and ends up seeing... Another Kumou. ]
How many of you are there?
no subject
Chuutarou knew about Hirari!! So nice of you not to know your girlfriend's favorite student.]

Would you like some help?

Have a special smile, just for Sensei as he turns around ] Botan-sensei! Sure, more help means we can get more done. ["and then maybe Ten-nii would be back faster" goes unsaid.]

So perhaps it was a whim or just a moment of simplistic curiosity that lead him to go and find the one in question. Only knowing who was responsible due to having rounded the corner to see the boy finishing with putting up another one, and he looked from it to the boy briefly before exhaling a small sigh. ]
...Ah... How long has he been missing for, exactly?
[ A reasonable thing to ask, right? ]
no subject
Chuutarou is going to smile, pleased to have some interest in the search, before sobering slightly when he answered. ]
Ten-nii went missing the twentieth. We thought he went to work but he never showed up there, or anywhere else.
