( Locked to Kumonji House – 2/11 Early Morning )

[ So anyone around this morning will be greeted with the sight of Kousetsu making tea, as he is rather cold this February morning. There’s a cut through the silence as the clattering of one teapot and the sound of hissing water hitting the stove and surrounding areas. It also hits Kousetsu’s hand, but he really doesn’t feel anything?! So he might just stare at his hands for a moment, before sticking it under cold or hot water? What is temperature right now, he can’t tell. This is rather distressing though, but don’t be alarmed he is totally outwardly…calm about this. ]

( Open Shrine – 2/12 Afternoon )

[ After that incident and the trouble that follows it Kousetsu is going to be found at work. He’s totally not taking time off for a small wound like that. So with his hand properly bandaged and seen to he will go about his daily business around the shrine. For the most part he doesn't run into any problems, yet. He’s rather studious and serious in his work, especially at the shrine given what it means to him and all. So perhaps you might be saying some prayers at the offering box when suddenly floating emas held by no one at all are just being held out to you. But it's not a haunting okay? Please don't exorcise him?! ]

( Open Gardens – 2/13 Afternoon )

[ His fading in and out of existence is occurring more frequently and is lasting a lot longer. He is totally not amused by any of this, thanks Ceres. Still you might be wandering around the gardens only to see a bundle of flowers floating in the air or presumably being planted with no one there?! The gardens aren’t haunted, or are they? No it’s just Kousetsu trying his hardest to remain ever vigilant despite his circumstances. But he’s really looking quiet sad as the flower pot he has in his hands phases through his grip and clatters to the floor. He might look to for assistance there and then. ]

…I am sorry. This has been happening- [ Kousetsu is slowly fading away as he speaks. He talks too slowly and so before he can finish he disappears. But he reappears fully to finish his sentence after a second or two. Hm. ] -quite frequently. [ There’s a deep frown etched on his face as he looks like he’s glaring at you?! But, wow, he is sorry he just disappeared like that. He’s not sure what to even do he looks to be at a loss. He just wants to plant his flowers. Why this? ]

[When Sayo woke up, he felt quite cold today. He didn't think much of it and, after getting ready, decided that something hot to drink would be nice. Like some tea would be nice.

Until he heard the clattering sound and he runs over to check, seeing his brother standing there with his hand under water?]

Niisan, are you alright?

[Sayo quickly walks over towards his brother, until he's next to him and look at his hand.]

[ His head turns up quickly from the blistering and redness forming quite quickly across his left hand. He doesn't say anything until Sayo asks that. ]

...it is fine, Sayo. I simply made an error and spilled water on myself. [ BOILING HOT WATER. Which he didn't seem to notice was boiling hot?! ]

...there is something wrong.

[reprizesal]

What's wrong?

[He looks at Kousetsu's hand, concerned by how red it is. Um, how to deal with this again?]

Do you need me to get something?

[heiwana]

[ Kousetsu frowns even now as he looks at the wound forming. It's not painful though. ]

...it does not hurt. But it needs to be treated. There is a first aid kit in the bathroom. [ Go forth and scout it out, Sayo! For your big brother!! ]

[She saw him flicker once, and knowing what has been happening lately, decided to observe his actions first. She didn't realise that phasing in and out was a possibility, and so jumps in shock when she hears the breaking of a pot.

Quickly she rushes over to see if she can even look at his hands (did he hurt himself?) when he kept flickering.]

Did you get hurt? [Did it hit his feet?] We need to look at your hands and save this flower too. [If the roots aren't broken, she could plant it for him.]

[heiwana]

[ Kousetsu just looks sad, like his normal expression, but he tries to bend down to pick up the plant in question except he keeps phasing through it. Ah this is very frustrating!!

Aside from bandage on his hand from his burn he appears to be alright. ]

I am fine, Vietnam-san. I am sorry...to have worried you. [ He bows a little in apology while on the ground. ] If you could plant it...I would be grateful.

[hoasen]

[Normally looking sad...Kousetsu no. Seeing how he's having trouble (and that his hand is fine aside from that bandage), she reaches down to scoop up the plant. It doesn't look bad, actually.]

You've injured your hand already, no? [Implying that hand.] I will do so, you should rest.

[Sousei was in the living room when he hears the crash. He can hear the music, starting to edge onto his hearing, but so far it isn't too bad--a crash is more than loud enough for him to jump to his feet, making his way immediately into the kitchen, only to see Kousetsu holding his burn under what seems to be hot water...?

Why would you do that, calm sword!!!

He immediately strides over to switch the water from hot to cold, frowning at the mess and at Kousetsu's hand.]

What are you doing?

[heiwana]

[ His hand looks pretty bad it's at least a second degree burn but he doesn't seem to notice or feel the pain that should result from such a serious injury. He will look back at Sousei, head turning downward to the spilled water on the kitchen floor. ]

...I am- [ He bows in apology. ] I am sorry, Sousei-san. I will clean it up immediately.

[ Kousetsu, no. Your hand...well he can't feel it anyway and besides he just needs to go to Haru's to be fixed. ]

[deontology]

[He sighs immediately at that, grabbing Kousetsu's wrist in a firm but gently hold.]

I am not angry about the cup. Stay here, and keep your hand under the cold water. Do not bother cleaning that up.

[sheesh!!! What is he to do with you swords?]

You've burned your hand badly enough.

[And here Anna was walking through the gardens in hopes that she would take some of her frustrations out of her mind. Although, all she could do was simply give the young man a sad smile. Sure, she was a little surprised by his sudden glare but that's okay!

While she can't talk, the most she could do was to point to the flower pot almost as if she was asking if he needed some help.]

[heiwana]

[ Young man. He's 800+ years old, gosh Anna. But no. Kousetsu, when he reappears, will look at the ruined pot and its contents now strewn about the floor with a tired acceptance. ]

...it is not necessary. You are not hurt? [ She doesn't appear to be but he is just making sure. ]

[sjokolade]

[She can't tell and besides! 800+ is the new 20 anyway! But either way, as he pointed to the pot, she quickly shook her head before flashing a quick smile! She’s a-okay over here!

However, as she looked at the remains of the broken pot, it didn’t seem to stop her from trying to help him out. Instead, she gave it a good look before looking around the area.

She wasn't even sure how to clean it but oh well. This mess wasn’t going to clean itself up! Don’t mind Anna trying to pick up the pieces.]

[Working on your birthday is something most people don't really like to do, but Lapis has stopped caring years ago. Plus her mind is less on how it's her birthday, and more on ignoring that odd song that she can faintly hear. So Lapis isn't the one Kousetsu holds the emas out to, but she does look up from her cleaning around the shrine to see someone panicking over how they're just floating in the air.

Luckily Lapis can still sense that Kousetsu is there, so she quickly hurries over as the person starts yelling about ghosts and exorcisms.]

... Please calm down. He's not a ghost, so there's no need for any yelling.

[heiwana]

[ Not what he intended to have happen! Kousetsu will step away when those cries of an exorcism needed to be taken. Please do not let the crazy colony people exorcise him, Lapis. Sadly that would actually work on him, given what he was, to the hysterical threat is actually quite serious to him.

Kousetsu will finally come back into view and much to the shock of the person claiming the shrine being haunted they readily back away, fear still etched into their eyes. He's about to apologize when they turn suddenly at leave. Hm he looks...troubled. Though he does turn to Lapis then, bowing with gratitude. ]

...I am sorry to have caused you problems. Thank you for helping me.

[Lapis simply huffs as the person backs away, not feeling too sympathetic since threats of exorcism aren't things she appreciates. Especially since she and her ghost buddy can be hurt by them too.

But once they're gone, she turns to look at Kousetsu, blinking in surprise at how he bows and then she shakes her head.]

... It's alright. It's not like you can help it, and I don't appreciate it when people threaten things like exorcisms so lightly like that. [Another huff as she thinks about it, before her expression softens.]

How long has that been happening?

[HE'S BEING HAUNTED-- wait, he's a ghost too, why's he being haunted. This event stuff is bullshit, honestly!! He's already 110% done with it before Kousetsu the magnificently invisible appears, though he does look even more done as he gives the emas a critical glance.]

Uh... No thanks? [?!? WHO IS THIS, WHAT DO THEY WANT, WHY HIM...

No, okay, he's not actually that panicked... Especially because he can still sense a fellow tsukumogami, and because everyone in swordhaus has had to deal with the same issues lately, with the exception of a few.]

[heiwana]

[ Low and behold it is Kousetsu who appears before him in the blink of an eye. His sudden emergence into the visible realm has a few bystanders gasping and maybe backing away? But, yeah, Kousetsu isn't too peeved by that honestly. ]

...Kashuu-san I am sorry. It is not something I can control...

[ Clearly because the bottom half of him, up to his knees, has yet to reform so it looks like he's floating or...something spooky. ]

...this has been happening since yesterday.

[adornmental]

[Ah, it's Kousetsu... Dang, it really is like all of the swords have been afflicted with this-- whatever this is.]

S'fine. I bet you're like, way cold too, right?

[Kashuu's looking pretty solid for now, but he understands that struggle. He glances down at the spot where his body ends and spooky seemingly-nothingness begins, brow furrowed.

Then he moves one foot forward to toe at one of Kousetsu's shins, just to see if it also feels like it's gone.]

( He was just visiting as he sometimes does when he turns around and finds himself face to face with floating emas. He jumps at first and then makes a face, )

Knock it off, Kashuu!

( Because who else could be haunting Mutsu??? )

...it is not Kashuu-san. [ And the emas might take a step back as well? But Kousetsu will reappear shortly, no worries. His brow furrowed and his face stuck in a very deep frown. ]

...I am deeply sorry, Mutsunokami-san. I did not mean to startle you. [ But you know it happened right when he was offering up emas to people, whoops. ]

( Oh, he recognizes that voice! And he relaxes )

Kousetsu-san? ( And there he is! ) Nah, s'okay! I just thought...

... It's been weird today, ya know?

[Naki doesn't notice Kousetsu at first, his senses dulled by the fact the music in his head hasn't stopped in days. It's been hard to sleep, and at this point the song's permeated so thoroughly into his head he might have started humming snatches of it at random before catching himself. He can't hear anything aside from that weird song either, at this point - and honestly probably would have just kept walking, if smallest fox hadn't caught his attention and pointed out Kousetsu's dilemma.

So he stares.

Blinks.

...Realizes what the problem is.

Having a talking fox is really helpful at times like this.]

It seems to have been happening to a lot of people lately...Would you like some help, Kousetsu-san?

[heiwana]

[ Kousetsu sees the other and...well, he can't do it himself so the help is greatly appreciated, Naki. Kousetsu nods silently as he bends down to try and pick up those pieces of broken pottery. But he can't quite do it, given the situation he's in and the fact that his hands keep going through things?! ]

...thank you, Nakigitsune-san. [ Have a deep bow from him in gratitude. He's very appreciative of the offer to help. ]

[yaayaa]

You're very welcome, Kousetsu-san! [as Naki picks up the pieces. Simple tasks like this are kinda nice, in a way. Just grab a piece here, grab a piece there...while fox talks.]

It seems these recent events have made it difficult to continue with our usual routines...are you doing alright, under the circumstances?
