cause all of my kindness; (CLOSED)
Who:
Rin &
Archer.
When: February 13.
Where: Golden Archers prob.
What: Rin went looting and found a thing. Also some weapons, but most importantly A Thing. Archer don't like that thing, no sir.
Rating/Warning: Fate/spoilers probably, but it should be pretty tame considering them.
[ The day after is already infinitely better, the Spirit Hacker's decided as she makes her way down towards the familiar food stall to meet up with a certain Heroic Spirit. It doesn't take Rin long to bounce back from a gloomy atmosphere, though these days it's a touch more difficult considering the lack of memories in her mind. Everything hits her harder than it should and the loss of familiar people (family..? she's not sure anymore) is unsettling.
So she does what she would hope others would do for her: break into their belongings and destroy anything that shouldn't be left behind. While most of what she takes is simply hoarded (weapons and clothes are always nice), there's something that catches her attention above all else.
Which is what she greets Archer with. Holding the necklace up in front of his face while he's mid-cooking is as good of an introduction as she gets. ]
Look at what Emiya was holding onto! Do you think it was a gift for his girlfriend, Miss Sakura?

The other though...
...yes, he stared at that necklace.]
Could you give that to me?
[Politely, he holds out his hand. If he acts to harsh about it, Rin would probably keep it and demand the circumstances and then be hurt by him getting mad about it. Like this though....maybe.]

[ It's unlike Archer to ask for anything and while a part of her was selfish enough to want to hold onto something this valuable (it's a giant red jewel, of course it's worth something), the rarity of his request wins over.
Gently, she lets it fall into his palm. ]

[He pockets it away in...well, someplace hidden on himself.
Though since she was so cooperative about it, Archer decides to at least reveal a bit about the necklace.]
That's a fairly important heirloom of mine. That idiot was keeping it for the same reason I'm keeping it.

[ In case she needs to summon her to her side. ] Geez... I thought I was going to be rich finally, but it turns out that it's something I'm not able to part with because of you. It's troublesome.

[What a terrible but legitimate strategy. No, Archer isn't going to push that at all.]
...look. That necklace was used by your other self. Mostly to save the life of Emiya Shirou. Rather than recover it, she left it at his body, where he picked it up.

Why didn't he return it to her after she saved his life? It's the least he could have done.

Why didn't you return it to her?
no subject
I didn't know it was hers. The answer is that simple.

I hate to break it to you, Archer, but any woman can wear something like that.

Isn't it a bit selfish to want to have two of the same item?
[ If Shirou had one, then surely Archer has his own. ]

[Skipping the serious parts of the conversation, he slaps on a sardonic smile.]
...perhaps I wish to do something to it and give it to you.

[ So rude. ]
no subject
[Even ruder, because he's great at 'getting hopes up' thing but never really revealing if he's going to do it.]
