[ It starts with not finding his hair brush when he’s getting ready to go to work. Mother had helped him sort his hair out many times when he had just come to Sheol, and it was something that made him think of her once in a while. He couldn’t for the life of him find it. And then he stumbled right over it, falling over and crashing into the floor with a yelp. ]

Open - around the hospital, 2/11
[ He’s sure the hospital was here just the other day. But now, he can’t see it at all. There’s just a big empty space, as if nothing was ever there. He stares at the spot in confusion, walking over.

And crashing right into the wall, because the building wasn’t gone, it was just invisible.

And yes, he just squeaked and it sounded like ‘gyo’. ]

Open - park, 2/12
[ This is really stressing Rasu out. Without being able to do anything medical, without seeing any of the tools he uses for work, he’s feeling pretty useless. And right now he’s sitting curled up and still managing to take up space because he’s a long wirey noodle with hair you probably just stepped on. Sitting right in the middle of the park trying to calm down and whispering to himself that he’s not going crazy, but that he probably is going crazy. ]

Open - everywhere, 2/13
[ Now, it’s been a few days, and this is turning out to be an even bigger problem the more time passed.

He couldn’t see Hokuto. Right now, it’s more of a “can’t find him”, because he hasn’t realized that that’s what’s going on. Earlier days he could still see people! He can’t see Labrador either, nor anyone who works at the hospital.

Sorry if he walks right into you or any objects that has anything to do with hospitals or people being nice to him. Or people with white hair. Or old people.

She was the first person who was nice to him and cared for him like a parent would okay, and it’s been ages since he last saw her. Don’t blame him. ]

[ Well, the longer parts of his hair is usually braided, so that wouldn't make a difference, but... He hasn't exactle braided the other parts of his hair before. ]

[ Yes, he knows that much. Rasu has a lot longer hair than most other people Hokuto knows. ]

[ It does reach below his knee unbraided. He'll try to relax, which he is starting to do even if he's so close to the one he likes in secret. ]

[ Brushing someone's hair is pretty calming, anyway. Hokuto untangles a knot, careful know to tug or get stuck. ]

[ Hokuto is surprisingly good at it. He was freaked out by for some reason being unable to see things, but he's finally starting to relax again. Even his face, that rarely relaxes, is doing so. ]

[ He's had loads of practice, after all. He even knows how to use those hair clips hairdressers use. ]

[ He can't help but lean into it, not even realizing he's doing it. ]

[ That's alright, Hokuto doesn't mind. He just continues on the shorter part of his hair, untangling even more knots and tangles. ]

[ At least he manages not to make any silly noises. He can do that sometimes. ]

[ Yeah, that would be weird. Hokuto would be thankful. ]

[ It feels really nice, okay, don't blame him. ]

[ Yeah yeah, he's not. ]

[ Good. He's kind of feeling a little embarrassed though. ]

[ Hokuto is not, though. ]

[creepface]

[ That makes one of them! ]

[ Yup.

Hokuto moves on to the end of the long tail, working his way upwards. ]

[ That's going to take a while, so all he can do is keep sitting there. ]

[ Not all that long, he's gotten the hang of this. ]

[ Good. He's supposed to be at work in not too long. ]

[smokingspirit]

[ Yeah, Hokuto knows that, since he's walked him to work a lot of times. ]

[ How's it going? He's getting more fidgety since he doesn't want to get late. ]

[smokingspirit]

[ Almost done, he's at the braiding it part, so he sets aside the brush. ]

[ He tries to spot it, but he still can't see it. ]

[smokingspirit]

[ It's okay, Hokuto'll put it where he won't trip on it or anything. He gets up from the couch, and goes to change from sweater to shirt. ]

Anything else you need to do before we leave?

[ He shakes his head. ]

N-no. I don't th-think. So.

[ He stands up, only to trip over the first aid kit that he makes sure is next to his bed. ]
