Shopping District
[So. Things are still super weird. Everything about this colony and everything he’s learned over the last couple of days has been very strange to him, not to mention stressful.
Initially when he woke up a few days later shivering he had assumed maybe he was sick. Not that that had mattered. He burrowed further in his blankets and that was that…except that it wasn’t. Everything felt cold, even Baymax activating his internal heater did nothing for him.
So he left. He took off, taking his robot on the train with him and headed for the shopping district. Over the course of the day he’s wandering with Baymax, occasionally burying himself further and further into piles of clothing. Sorry if he startles you by being there.
On the other hand, taking Baymax anywhere is always a hassle. When Hiro’s not trying to warm up, he’s chasing after the robot, occasionally bumping into people.]
Baymax! Wait! [Baymax might not be fast, but it’s easy to get separated from him. Heads up, he’s not at all watching where he’s running. He might just run right into you…or through you. Or through a building. Well that’s not normal, is it? Who knows where he’ll end up.]
CERES Game Center
[Being nearly invisible is kinda bad. He’s almost completely faded by the time he makes his way to the CERES game center with Baymax at his side. The robot and invisible-boy are blocking the entrance to ViViD today due to the fact that Hiro’s sitting just outside of it scowling at it, moving around the system to try and figure it out without going inside. If he sees someone passing by though or even approaching to play, he’ll catch their attention, trying to grab them by the arm and phasing right through.]
Hey, I have a question for you.

ah, yes, the one that comes before Tadashi's facepalming one
[What? He didn't! The Tadashaism must be stopped before it gets worse! If anything, Jack is doing Hiro a favor. Totally.
He takes the staff back when it gets swatted at (excuse you!), making a mental note of this being Tadashi's creation but looking like Hiro's buddy. And that last bit... mmmh.] There's no way your brother of all people added karate to him. How does vinyl punch things anyway?
Tadashi's life (and Baymax's) is suffering
Are you kidding? Tadashi wouldn't have dared make Baymax anything more than a healthcare provider. Anyway, he punches things while wearing his armor. [Obviously. There's a smirk.] Trust me, I thought it all out.
Baymax won't argue with that
[He thought about it too much, Jack thinks. As much as he likes some action every now and then, how do you go from huggable robot to karate master?
He may've joked about the tires, but Baymax also reminds Jack of a snowman, he likes the design (not telling that to Tadashi ever). The patting makes Jack chuckle, too - that's kinda sweet.]
So healthcare. Hey, Baymax, wanna say a quick hello to the kids? Check if they aren't too tired after an afternoon of games?
no subject
I would like to say hello. It is important for children to play, but not exhaust themselves.
[Come to think of it, has Baymax dealt with anyone younger than Hiro? He's not sure.] Lead the way, Frost. He'll follow.

The kids, cute little things they are, know exactly who is calling them. They laugh happily as they run in their direction, because Jack finally has come after some days of absence... but they stop to gasp when they see who else is waiting there.
Baymax, buddy? Hope you're ready to be hugged, poked and pulled to the infinity and beyond by their little, eager hands.]
no subject
Hiro's still in the tree though trying not to phase through, watching the scene below before tilting his head up toward Jack.]
You've got a way with kids. I'm kinda impressed. [He watches Baymax again.] ...do they know who you really are?
no subject
What can I say, job of the Guardian. [He's smiling at Baymax and the kids, but turn to Hiro when he hears that question.] Of course they do. Why wouldn't I tell them?
no subject
Yeah, I know. I guess I just don't really get the whole Guardian thing yet. [A beat.] Some heroes in our world don't go around sharing their identity with just anybody. Things are different now, but it wasn't always that way.
no subject
[His deep philosophy about belief, magic and childhood is interrupted when he sees what Baymax is doing. The kids love it, by the way, their neurotransmitter levels will show a big, happy YAY.]
Hey, I want one too!
[Jack can be a little kid too sometimes, don't mind him as he jumps off his branch to go for a lollipop.]
no subject
When Jack approaches, Baymax turns and holds a lollipop out to him, patting Jack on the head with his free hand and telling him he's been a good boy. While Baymax might not understand exactly what it is Jack's done for these kids, he's smart enough to realize that their boosted neurotransmitter levels also have to do with the spirit.]
I take that back. I can see exactly why you're the right guy for the job.
no subject
His smile drops the second his fingers go through both sugar and vinyl. Hiro probably knows it doesn't hurt, but the look on Jack's face says different. It's as if he had been kicked.]
...thanks, Baymax. But maybe you can keep that one. Share with your buddy too, huh. [He points at Hiro with his thumb. Better keep talking about lollipops, sweets are safe.]
no subject
...dude, what's wrong with you? [Maybe he shouldn't have phrased it that way. Baymax appears to be scanning Jack, but his sensors are having trouble reading anything.]
no subject
...nothing. Nothing is wrong. I should get going, you guys were probably doing something too.
[He's so smooth.]
