[There's going to be a few changes with Ishikirimaru moving in.
The place which one calls home is a sanctuary, and he wants to make sure that the house channels a good aura to its residents.
One may notice that there is an altar set up in his room, and furniture is being dragged here and there to improve its fengshui (yes it is kind of a Shinto thing).
The oodachi seems a little too engaged in his cleanup to not notice if any other of his housemates were victims of this 'purification'.]
B.
[The television is quite the oddity to the holy sword. It resembles a sacred mirror, and yet it is blackened and given importance to with its central position in the living room.
Daily rites must be conducted, and one can see him kneeling before the screen, chanting esoteric incantations while waving his gohei.
Essentially, he is worshipping the TV and he has no idea what a remote is.]
b
Wait what? Looking around, she wonders if she should step out. She has figured out by now: the swords and a television set is like a recipe for disaster.]
...
[Maybe she should say something before someone else does. So she picks up the remote and puts it at a position where it looks like she accidentally touched it. Oh no! She turned on the tv! She didn't mean to! (she did).
Little does she know that this was the same dude that Dotanuki was talking about that was like a larger sized version of Japan.]
no subject
Explosive but interesting to watch, just like the TV at times. It happens to switch on, showing a documentary of CYbuddies. The mirror coming alive startles him.]
What the...
What did you do to activate the mirror?
no subject
With this! [She holds up the remote control. Seeing as he wasn't going crazy over it, she could go ahead and admit she did it.] It is a remote control. This "mirror" isn't really a mirror, it's a television set.
no subject
[This thing called a remote control is unusually small, and with many strange ridges.
It's nothing like the goheis and shimenawas he is used to, maybe it makes up for its size with its ornateness.]
Do you use this to make prayers to this 'television'?
no subject
[She then shakes her head.] A television is...hmm, how to say. It is like a box that shows moving pictures.
[Also on closer inspection, this man looks really familiar.]

... Wait, that's him.
Aruji-sama why. Er, he should probably be good then. They're kinda related, so they should maintain a good relationship, right? No wrath like that of a holy sword. ]Hey~ Ishikirimaru-san, what are the rules to Feng Shui?
[ He has some convenience-store mochi he felt that he should give as an offering to that altar. They're good-tasting mochi so hopefully they suffice, out of their packaging and arranged on a nice plate. ]
no subject
It can be complicated to explain, but the flow of spiritual energy needs to be monitored so that it would not attract misfortune or evil. Every direction has different properties, furniture needs to be arranged properly so that the house can have a positive aura.
[As he explains, he relaxes and brings himself a little lower out of courtesy..]
no subject
That might mean a lot of rearranging... Do evil spirits really care about where stuff goes? We could beat them up ourselves, or use one of Haru-sama's exorcisms~
[ He's actually imagining something like enemy tantous bouncing off the front door with magic. ]
no subject
[Since injury and potential death isn't fun and all.
With strong enough barriers they might just literally vaporize at the door.]
no subject
[ He's going to... quickly clean up the plastic packaging of what he snacked on from last night. Ima-litter, what Ima-litter? There is none here. ]
Actually, are you gonna fix up every room, Ishikiri-san? We have three compart- erm, apartments... You'll be very tired moving all that stuff on your own.
[ Would he even have permission to go through people's bedrooms? ]

a for (a)fter tsuru's committed a big sin (or two) (or ten)
aside from feeling THE SPIRIT OF PURIFICATION from two buildings and a room over, tsurumaru's showed up to investigate the altar! (and to see if he can somehow disable it, because how is he going to sin in this household like this?)
he's standing in the doorway, fearing that he'd possibly incinerate into flames if he takes one more step inside. ]
Soooo, Ishikirimaru. [ and, spoken far too innocently: ] We have a church, you know. What's this here for?
KFC(rane) for dinner
[Ishikirimaru explains in his normal friendly manner, not suspecting a thing. Blame the poor scouting stats.
It's not huge that it would take up half a room, but it can be easily seen in its place by the wall. Would Tsurumaru's room be a good place? He ponders.]
NO that's not allowed? ishipapa why i trusted you
You're right! It sounds like something you'd do, after all.
[ aside from how menacing the altar's presence is to him, its decorations are intricate enough for tsurumaru to admire, and naturally drawn to shinier things, he stares at it for a moment. ]
Especially since you're the one that set it up — that has to make it even stronger, don't you think? This one shrine is practically enough for this entire building!
be a good birb or its 11 secret spices
[Behind every closed door, still it is possible that evil might come from somewhere, whether it be from the drains or someone like Mikazuki trying to cook by himself.]
Do you need one in the master's house as well?
HAVE MERCY slowly sets those 11 secret spices back in your cupboard and locks it
You're a powerful oodachi, I'm almost certain that the presence of this altar, brought over here to this room by yourself, makes your powers stronger — like when Haru lets us equip horses!!
[ isn't that how it works? he's grasping at straws here.... what else can he say to convince ishikirimaru otherwise? he can't have a shrine in his apartment, he's going to burn faster than namazuo at osaka castle. ]
No, no, we're good over there! We have Iwatooshi, and wasn't his master a monk?

Naki's just gonna sit over here with his foxes (all two of them), watching all the moving from over the back of the couch. Unless Ishikirimaru decides to move the couch too?]
Will our new home be safe from evil now, Ishikirimaru-sama?
no subject
A negative aura would attract misfortune, no one wants the kebiishi to come a knocking.]
This will be a start. When the house is pure, evil forces would not approach that easily.
[Excuse him while Ishikirimaru rotates the couch along with Naki.]
no subject
Naki's robofox jumps off the couch when it starts rotating, deciding instead to trail along right behind Ishikirimaru as he moves. The other two stay for the ride. \o/]
That is a very good idea! Ah, was the positioning of our furniture not acceptable before, though? Will fixing it bring us better luck?

It would allow positive spiritual energy to flow in and circulate better. As tsukumogami, we are more sensitive to the spiritual realm after all.

So seeing Ishikirimaru perform rites in front of it... ]
... are you okay?
[ That's all he's got. He's a little confused. ]
no subject
[His voice carries a harsher tone than usual. Ishikirimaru is patient, except towards anyone who might interrupt his rituals.
The television god needs its offerings or it will bring misfortune. Still, he doesn't know that waving a gohei will not turn it on.]
no subject
[ Actually, he doesn't really see but Kogitsunemaru doesn't mind. Eh? The remote is on the table in front of the couch... ]
... I see.
[ Deep breath, inhaling and exhaling, before flopping on the comfy piece of furniture and taking the control into his hand. When there's a perfect moment, he'll turn it on. No one will stop him from learning how to bake a proper loaf of bread! ]
no subject
The basil green oodachi is startled. What does it mean?]
What the...? Kogitsunemaru, did you do anything?
