he marks his page and sets his book aside, then shifts to reach and gather up ima's long hair with both hands. ]
It'll tangle like this. [ it's a mild warning, and sort of pointless in the end, since he starts gently separating and braiding it anyway. ] Did you just get in, Ima-san?

Yup yup~ Playing with everyone when I got here was fun, even if this place is pretty different.
[ He hands Haru a familiar black ribbon. Braids don't stay in place by themselves you know. ] I beat Kogitsune-san in a race here and grabbed this~ I can give it back later.

Spoils of battle, huh?
[ he curls it around his hand to keep it out of the way, then returns to his braiding, hands careful and surprisingly quick. but then, he does have three younger sisters, after all. ]
I saw Iwa-san earlier. If I'd known the two of you were arriving together, I would've put you in the same room. [ as it is, he'll have to place ima somewhere else, at least temporarily. ]

It's fiiine~ A change of pace is nice once in a while.
[ He stretches a little, like a cat would. Not so much that it would bother his Saniwa's swift braiding, though. He's a big brother too, like Ichi-kun and Sousetsu-kun. All responsible people. ] Our new home is quite different, huh? Not like the citadel. A bit smaller, but comfier too~
