[ tsurumaru pauses, because what could that possibly mean? the last time he checked, steel doesn't just move on its own? it's not as if the saniwa could summon a steel spirit? how would they even ride a steel spirit? neither yamato nor tsurumaru know what bikes are? so what does this stranger mean, at least ride it?

WELL!!! there's no time to think about it further, as both of them are currently running from their lives from one (1) Very Angry Bike Owner — now, a former bike owner. if they'd run into their apartment, tsurumaru doesn't doubt for a second that one of his fellow comrades would pick betray and rat them out and hand them over. so, there's no other way to run than away; either way, he'll slip into the mentioned alley, taking deep breaths, setting the bike down and putting his hands on his knees, and when he looks up—
