[ Well, in between their code malfunctioning, Maya nearly suffocating, losing Pearl, Yuyuko, and Wolfwood, the Nexus Code, the flooding --- the last little while has been eventful. Too eventful. ]

[ It's nothing Maya's not used to, honestly, and without murders happening right left and center, she'd call it a win. She's alive! So are most people she knows! So she can deal with a little insanity and a little water. ]

[ "Little".... right. The Nexus Code had been niggling at her, and more importantly, she wants to catch up with Mia and see how she doing. So Maya will be popping up uninvited (using the door, at least) ]

[Mia would never object to uninvited visits from her little sister; in fact, it's still a novelty to her after years of living in different towns that Maya can just pop over to see her unannounced.

She does think it might be worth getting Maya a bell though, just so she can have some advanced warning.

As it is, she's moving a potted spider plant out of the way of a leak and replacing it with a bucket.]

[That might be a good idea in general. Put a GPS in it too, so someone can keep track of Maya and her movements at all time.]

[It's a novelty to Maya at all to have her sister alive, so she's still over the moon about it. No matter what awful things are going on, her sister is here. That's something. Maya peers at the plant in curiosity, then grins widely at her sister. She takes note of how Mia looks physically - before bounding right over to check out the scene proper.]

[Yup, that's muddy water all over the front of her t-shirt. Down goes the plant, and Mia's brushing the dirt off herself.]

[Besides... the not-so-small matter of her bust would probably be a factor but she's not going to say that to Maya.

I think this place is probably two steps away from being condemned, it's leakier than Gumshoe's wallet.
