[OPEN] I am a still pond on a clear day
Who: Miles Edgeworth and Y-O-U, that means YOU.
When: IC: 03/10-03/13 (OOC: 09/20-09-27)
Where: Errywhere. (Game Center [???], the gym, the junkyard)
What: Not just any Edgeworth. Zenworth, because #earthproblems...expect him to be more chill and affable than usual.
Rating/Warning: G for go forth and tag me
[OPTION A: GAME CENTER]
[Edgeworth isn't the ViViD type and the only times you'll find him in it are when he gets glitched into the virtual world and when he is dragged into it against his will. And yet, he stops in his tracks in front of the CERES Game Center to peer at the new games and the smash hits they're offering. So instead of blazing a trail into the building to try them out, he makes a soft tsk sound and shakes his head - not in annoyance, but in amusement. His lips curl into a slight grin.]
These games just get more and more ridiculous. [Not to mention historically inaccurate, but then again, with the sheer number of worlds people are drawn from...]
[He looks like he's deep in thought, as if contemplating whether to try a ridiculous game for a change, then he suddenly turns away to move on. Perhaps he'll bump into you, oops - or maybe not.]
[OPTION B: GYM]
[At least now Edgeworth doesn't have to train in the gardens. He's back in the gym, and he is standing on a mat, practicing punches and kicks at a quick pace, his expression serene as if there's nothing else he'd rather do but stay in fighting shape. He has dressed down for the occasion, wearing only a white shirt with sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a pair of jogging pants (while the gym was gone, he invested in some jogging gear). You can watch him, try to talk to him while he's at it, or wait for him to stop, take several deep breaths, and mop his brow with a small towel.
Somewhere close by is his favorite saber, nestled in its scabbard and waiting for him to begin his sword exercises next. It's most likely propped up on a bench.]
[OPTION C: JUNKYARD]
[This is where things get really interesting.
You wouldn't expect a person like Edgeworth to be in a place like this, right? Neither would you expect him to scrounge up some of the scraps (the bits that aren't metal). Yet here he is, doing just that like it's completely normal. Perhaps he has in his hand a slab of broken wood, or better yet, what looks like a chunk torn off from a punching bag.
He then places his other hand onto the material, and at once electric blue sparks erupt from his fingers as Edgeworth pushes his soul energy into it, causing it to shatter and break into pieces. His hand is still flickering with power after that little episode...
Now would be a good time to ask him where he got powers like that.]

junkyard!
[ She's not sure if he was trying to keep it a secret or not, but in any case, here's a small girl who seems to be rather curious. Hello again, it's been a while, hasn't it? ]
no subject
Well, Illya was right. This power still fascinated him even though he's been able to do it for months. Thank you, CRAU.]
It is, yes. The effect is akin to that of a stun gun.

Hope you don't mind Takeru just staring and wondering how long he's going to keep punching that poor punchbag]
no subject
...What is it?
[He blinks as he continues wiping his forehead, and then moves to his neck.]
no subject
Although his thoughts got cut short when he heard Edgeworth spoke]
...You're really strong aren't you? You sure showed that punching bag that you can do a lot of damage, that's pretty cool! I wish I can do that!

Also, Dotanuki was about to turn into the ViViD game center just as Edgeworth was turning out of it, which means they run smack into each other. Dotanuki isn't that tall, only standing at about 5'6" or so, but hopefully his armored chest doesn't inflict nasty bruises on that cravat.]
Aw crap-- sorry, yo--
[WAIT...... Eyesquint.]
....You're that Hasebe look alike.
FOR THE LAST TIME HE IS NOT HASEBE -
Ah, it's quite all right...
[There's that name again. He blinks, but otherwise doesn't flip his lid over being associated with this Hasebe guy.]
And, my name is Miles Edgeworth. [He says it evenly, not in chastisement. It's like a casual reminder more than anything else.]
He is Edgebe, I see.
Didn't hurt you, did I?
[He takes a step back and adjusts the armor plating around his neck.]
...close enough.

junkyard!!
[It's the sudden sound of something snapping a few feet away that causes him to whip his head around and jump, nearly dropping his Pile o' Parts. This guy... What is he doing, breaking things down? Moreover, what was that power?? It's very... Sparky, his mind lamely suggests.]
Ah-- That power, what was that, exactly? If I may ask, that is.
no subject
It's called Soul Menace, and it entails projecting the energy from your soul into an offensive attack. If you know what a stun gun is, my power works rather like one.
[He's still not quite used to talking about powers...like this...so casually. Even if he has long established that his CRAU powers are real.]
no subject
I don't, but I think I get the gist of it. Very... Menacing. [He looks a little too self-satisfied at the joke for a moment...]
[But he snaps back to himself a moment later.] Though, you mention a soul... It didn't look like the soul energy I'm familiar with, nor did I sense it. [He looks down to his hand, where a point of blue light is collecting. Yep, wakfu still exists, so... How strange, the difference.]
(no subject)
Game Center!
Oh! Oh, sorry about that....
[With a glance up though, that sheepish look turns into a bright smile!]
Mister Edgeworth, hi! Were you here to play some of the games too?
[If not, you might have to play a round now that she's caught you!]
no subject
Oh, no, Mabel. I was just passing by.
[Make him play. Edgeworth might actually say yes.]
Game Center
He'll bow politely and silently. ]
I am sorry. I was not looking where I was going. [ Have one sword spirit in priest robes bowing at you Edgeworth! ]
no subject
Oh, this guy was bowing. How respectful...although not required.]
That's...quite all right.
no subject
Are you familiar with these...games? [ Maybe he could learn a bit more. He's been meaning to go back but lots of things have happened of course. ]

[don't mind Maya, joining the peanut gallery and openly staring at what Edgeworth's doing. How did she get here? Why is she here? Who knows. But she's definitely impressed]
I can't believe you did something that cool!
[what a pal, that Maya]
no subject
Sometimes I can't believe I can do that, either. This is one of the powers I received when I was sent to another world.
no subject
[But her interest is immediately piqued. She knew Edgeworth was also kidnapped away from home before ending up there, but the powers are new.]
Really? What else can you do?

Whoops! [ At least she's good at catching her balance. ]

[Edgeworth quickly steps away from whoever he bumped into this time, and glances down to see the top of a blue top hat.]
Hello, Trucy. Are you all right?
