[ When he first awakens in his bed in the sword apartment he doesn’t even register that he’s out of the jungle or the beach. The pain that fills every fiber of his being is the only thing that actually matters right now. His back feels like it’s on fire still, albeit the pain isn’t as severe, after a session of healing he got on the beach itself. He just remembers those flames of heat coming towards them and the sound of that large explosion behind them.
Still the pain was enough to have him sit up and grimace in pain as he looks around for Sayo first and foremost. ]

Sayo?! [ his voice is concerned and worried as he looks around for his younger brother. Has he been returned here as well?! ]

[ Once he’s not on his death bed Kousetsu is just basically chilling in the living room when he has the energy to move around and actually do thing. He’s more or less just sitting in there playing a copycat game akin to animal crossing. It’s one of the more desirable games he’s found. At least there’s no violence…and it was peaceful. So he’s just going to do gardening inside when he can’t actually leave the house yet. Totally the same thing. ]

[ Upon being almost 100% healed and back in good shape (after a few days at least) you might happen across the sword spirit in his wanderings. He is very keenly looking into the window of the various cybuddy shops lining the streets. Most of them are damaged or in the process of being rebuilt but Kousetsu is missing his bird a good deal, so he’s just doing some window shopping for now to find a replacement for Shiro, ah.

The same goes for the food stop wherein he will be buying various dessert foods, way too much for a normal person to eat, and possible other foods as well. The ingredients he’s carrying around look like something for a Japanese hotpot. He is no stranger to the amounts of food the other swords eat so…it’s a lot of food. A hotpot was easy to make and it might be a good way to get everyone into a better mood after all that's happened. Feel free to bother him or even lend a hand?! He’s still not 100% better so he’ll be taking periodic breaks while walking back to the apartments. Perhaps he’ll even invite you to dinner if you ask nicely! ]

[Sayo reaches out to Kousetsu, gripping his clothes once they're close enough. He quickly looks him over to see his injuries, and if he have any new ones.]

I'll call Master. Just... don't push yourself too hard. Sit down and rest.

[ He might have a few new ones...thanks to the Kraken they fought on the beach. But otherwise he looks relatively the same. Still banged up and burned but that wound even seems to be healed better then before. ]

...I am sorry. To make you go through this after Souza has left...

[ He's definitely not feeling like a good big brother right now. Poor Sayo didn't deserve any of this. ]

[After Souza has left. That just reminds him of the promise he made, to help look after and protect the people in this household. How can he deal with that, when Kousetsu got hurt protecting him?]

No... It's not your fault. It's... [Who's the culprit? Or what?] ... It's whoever caused that explosion.

[If it's a person... He'd want them to pay for it.]

[ Kousetsu quietly nods as he shifts to get out of bed. His face pale and his expression strained, albeit it's still has a look of passiveness upon it. It hurt to move, to breath, it hurt just being awake. But hopefully Haru would be able to fix all of this. ]

I will...remain here. Go see if Haru-san is...back with the others.

[ He can't go very far anyway. ]

[His thoughts of potentially delivering revenge averted (for now), he nods and reach out to hold Kousetsu's hand.]

I will, Niisama. I'll get to Master as soon as I can. But do you need tea?

[ Kousetsu will shake his head, which is probably indicative to how much pain he's in, declining tea /gasp ]

...no. I am...fine for now. It is best if you get Haru-san first.

[ Tea doesn't sound appealing right now. He was in too much pain to really drink it and enjoy it as is. ]
