[01] put on your Sunday clothes when you feel down and out
Who: Wall-E and YOU!
When: Sundayof course
Where: Residential District
What: A little robot is doing some important work, but in order to get it done, we need to go knocking on some people's doors here.
Rating/Warning: N/A, will update as necessary?
[It's a nice and quiet Sunday, not a lot going on. However, if you have chosen to spend this day relaxing at home, you might be able to hear some noise--or rather, music, coming from somewhere outside of the door of your residence here:]
Put on your Sunday clothes,
There's lots of world out there!
Get out the brilliantine and dime cigars
We're gonna find adventure in the evening air
Girls in white in a perfumed night
Where the lights are as bright as the stars!
[Soon enough, you'll hear a knock upon your door. Upon opening it, you'll be greeted by Wall-E here, who will offer a small wave and do one of two things:
A. Attempt to roll right on past you and go straight into your house, leaving behind a large garbage bin on wheels out in the hallway. He seems to be a robot on a mission, looking around for something. Hopefully you are someone who keeps their trash somewhere out in a noticeable spot, because that's what Wall-E's here for. Otherwise, you might end up having a nosy robot starting to poke around your things when looking for your garbage can here.
or
B. He'll take a second to turn off the music playing, and then starts digging around in a container that he hoists off his back for a moment. Once he finds what he's looking for, he holds it out for you to look at: it looks like a business card that someone was nice enough to put together for him (probably after too many attempts of Plan A made it quickly apparent that he needed a different approach instead of just going into people's houses without proper explanation), stating that he's a "Door to Door Trash Compactor" and that he's here to take care of your garbage for you today.
He'll give you a moment to look at it before he then speaks.]
Traaash?
[Is it okay if he comes inside for a moment to do some cleaning? Or, barring that, if you could bring it out here and he'll take care of it for you right here outside your door?]

It's also kind of interesting hearing the reason why these smaller bits were thrown away. Back home, there was so much stuff that had been tossed out or abandoned to rot, many things that Wall-E had thought were very cool and unique. Sometimes, during days when he found something really special, he wondered why the humans who once lived there stopped admiring these things, or rather, didn't feel they were important enough to take with them when they left.
He turns his attention back to the trash, and after a moment, he seems to have deemed it ready to move. He's gonna start trying to lift this trash can up in front of him now so that he can carry it out of the kitchen and out towards the hallway.
Of course, the trash can in question might be a little taller than he is, and when he starts to wheel forward, he nearly bumps into a wall due to the object blocking his view. Oops.]

C-careful! The hallways are sort of tight here...

[Alright, gonna try to maneuver a bit more carefully here as he wheels this trash can out of the kitchen and towards the door. Wanna help him get the door here so that he can bring this outside to dump into that larger bin on wheels he brought with him?]

It's the little things, okay. ]

And now... he tries to lift the trash can above him to dump the contents into the bin... except that his aim is a little off, so the trash ends up getting spilled out onto the ground next to the bin.
...Oops.]

[ She can't really talk, but at least she's moving to help pick up the trash-- with a little grimace, of course, because gross. ]

[He didn't mean for it to end up on the floor... but, he's quick to act as he opens up the door on his chest, and begins using his hands to shovel everything on the floor into the open compartment there. Once he's gathered enough of it, the door closes and he begins to make a loud rumbling noise before the door opens back up, and out comes the trash, now compacted together in an easy to lift box-shape form. This should make it easier for them to pick up and toss into the bin now, right?]

Very impressive, Mary. He wouldn't have been able to get it in there without your help.]

Still, he'll stop clapping now as he points to Mary's apartment door. Is there any other trash cans you have that need to be emptied out?]

[ TO THE BATHROOM. ]

Is there anything in these trash cans worth noting here?]

But, then he returns it back to the trash can. Alright, time to take this outside to dump with the rest of the garbage, right?]
