What: A little robot is doing some important work, but in order to get it done, we need to go knocking on some people's doors here.

[It's a nice and quiet Sunday, not a lot going on. However, if you have chosen to spend this day relaxing at home, you might be able to hear some noise--or rather, music, coming from somewhere outside of the door of your residence here:]

Put on your Sunday clothes,
There's lots of world out there!
Get out the brilliantine and dime cigars
We're gonna find adventure in the evening air
Girls in white in a perfumed night
Where the lights are as bright as the stars!

[Soon enough, you'll hear a knock upon your door. Upon opening it, you'll be greeted by Wall-E here, who will offer a small wave and do one of two things:

A. Attempt to roll right on past you and go straight into your house, leaving behind a large garbage bin on wheels out in the hallway. He seems to be a robot on a mission, looking around for something. Hopefully you are someone who keeps their trash somewhere out in a noticeable spot, because that's what Wall-E's here for. Otherwise, you might end up having a nosy robot starting to poke around your things when looking for your garbage can here.

B. He'll take a second to turn off the music playing, and then starts digging around in a container that he hoists off his back for a moment. Once he finds what he's looking for, he holds it out for you to look at: it looks like a business card that someone was nice enough to put together for him (probably after too many attempts of Plan A made it quickly apparent that he needed a different approach instead of just going into people's houses without proper explanation), stating that he's a "Door to Door Trash Compactor" and that he's here to take care of your garbage for you today.

He'll give you a moment to look at it before he then speaks.]

Traaash?

[Is it okay if he comes inside for a moment to do some cleaning? Or, barring that, if you could bring it out here and he'll take care of it for you right here outside your door?]

[He's trying his best which is why Shiho is more than willing to lend a hand (the fact that he's a small cube-like robot helps a lot too).]

Here, let me help.

[Shiho reaches down to try and turn him around.]

[Well thank you, for turning him in the right direction. Hopefully now he should be able to get to the door without bumping into any more walls.

You'd think that he wouldn't have that sort of problem or be more used to navigating around them, but... if Shiho has been able to see a glimpse of his thoughts and memories from making contact with him, she'd be able to see that it's been a very long time since he's actually gone into people's houses to clean. Most of the trash he had to compact and gather was just laying in piles all over the place outside.]

[Shiho pauses for maybe a moment too long when she reads that thought from him.

Was he some kind of....worker at a dump, or something? It didn't seem like it. But at least he was going in the right direction now.]

So. This is your job, huh?

Uh-huh...

[This is accompanied by a nod. Cleaning up and compacting trash is what he was built for.

Sure, this place is not nearly in such a garbage-ridden state like Earth was, but even so, he sees no reason why he shouldn't continue to do this task even here in Cerealia.]

[Because she was curious about the garbage-ridden place he had been from but didn't want to just keep reading it off him.]

[That gets another nod in confirmation. This is what he was built for, the directive that he's been given to follow even after there weren't any people left on Earth anymore to clean up after.

He's going to be dumping the contents of your trash into the bin on wheels waiting out in the hallway--or at least, attempt to, as it's a little tall and there might be a few stray pieces of compost that don't quite make it in there and end up on the floor. Not to worry though, because Wall-E's just gonna pick anything up that doesn't make it into the bin and just...casually open a door on his chest here and shove that stuff in the empty space waiting there.]

Well, at least it looks like you're having fun.

[Not too sure about shoving stuff into your chest though.]

How about getting a smaller bin than that?

[He probably should have brought a smaller bin with him, but... it's okay, he's got a reason for shoving this stuff into his chest. Once he's gathered up all of the stuff that had ended up on the floor, he closes the door on his chest compartment and begins to make a rumbling noise for a moment.

He then opens the door on his chest, and out falls the trash, now compacted together in a small box-like shape. He then picks up the block of trash, holding it carefully so that it doesn't fall apart in his hands as he looks back to the bin. Now he just needs this to be tossed up into the bin along with the rest of what's already in there...]
