What: A little robot is doing some important work, but in order to get it done, we need to go knocking on some people's doors here.

[It's a nice and quiet Sunday, not a lot going on. However, if you have chosen to spend this day relaxing at home, you might be able to hear some noise--or rather, music, coming from somewhere outside of the door of your residence here:]

Put on your Sunday clothes,
There's lots of world out there!
Get out the brilliantine and dime cigars
We're gonna find adventure in the evening air
Girls in white in a perfumed night
Where the lights are as bright as the stars!

[Soon enough, you'll hear a knock upon your door. Upon opening it, you'll be greeted by Wall-E here, who will offer a small wave and do one of two things:

A. Attempt to roll right on past you and go straight into your house, leaving behind a large garbage bin on wheels out in the hallway. He seems to be a robot on a mission, looking around for something. Hopefully you are someone who keeps their trash somewhere out in a noticeable spot, because that's what Wall-E's here for. Otherwise, you might end up having a nosy robot starting to poke around your things when looking for your garbage can here.

B. He'll take a second to turn off the music playing, and then starts digging around in a container that he hoists off his back for a moment. Once he finds what he's looking for, he holds it out for you to look at: it looks like a business card that someone was nice enough to put together for him (probably after too many attempts of Plan A made it quickly apparent that he needed a different approach instead of just going into people's houses without proper explanation), stating that he's a "Door to Door Trash Compactor" and that he's here to take care of your garbage for you today.

He'll give you a moment to look at it before he then speaks.]

Traaash?

[Is it okay if he comes inside for a moment to do some cleaning? Or, barring that, if you could bring it out here and he'll take care of it for you right here outside your door?]

Oh-kay!

[Alright, he'll take care of these papers and soda cans! ...But those balls do catch his eye, and he can't help but stop to reach out and pick one up, turning it over in his hand. What are these for?

He then accidentally nudges one by his wheels, watching as it rolls along across the floor... and there he does, following after it until it stops rolling. And then he reaches a hand out and pokes it to get it rolling along the floor again...

Give him a second here Dipper, he will surely return to the task he's supposed to be doing in just a moment.]

[ Should he just keep watching this, or give him a hand, or.... ]

It's, uh, okay, really. You can just leave that wherever. [ There wasn't exactly any rhyme or reason to where the ball pit balls were.

There wasn't really any rhyme or reason to why there were ball pit balls in there in the first place. It was something Mabel had installed, along with the control that could increase the ball level if the need arose.

Not that it had since she'd left, but the option was still there. ]

[Aww, okay. He nudges this stray ball back over towards the rest of the balls that are supposed to be in the pits, but he seems reluctant to part with the one that he picked up earlier. After a moment of looking it over again, he rolls over to Dipper and holds it out for him to take. Once Dipper takes it from him, Wall-E then holds up a hand as if to say "one moment", before he then gets back to his task of cleaning here, picking up and shoving wads of paper and soda cans into the open compartment in his chest.

Once he's picked up all the trash in here, he suddenly wheels back over to Dipper, holding a hand out. Can we see that ball again that we had you hold for us?]

[ Dipper rolls the ball in his hands while he watches Wall-E pick up the last of the trash in the bedroom. When the little robot wheels his way back over to him, Dipper glances between Wall-E and the ball, puzzled. ]

Uh...here you go. [ He hands the ball back to him, waiting to see what he does with it. ]

[Thank you for holding this for us, Dipper. Now, Wall-E... can go back to playing with it as he now rolls it around in his hands, before trying to get it to roll around a little in the palm of just one hand, before transferring it to the other hand and doing the same in that one.

He almost drops it though, but he's quick to scramble and catch it before it can roll away, making a noise that almost sounds like a sigh of relief.

...He hasn't even gone close to the actual ball pits, and yet he seems to be having the time of his life just playing with this one ball.]

[ Wow, he's really into that ball, isn't he? It's pretty...charming, actually, to see Wall-E enjoying something as simple as one ball pit ball.

It's just one ball... ] Hey, do you want to keep that? I've got plenty more, obviously. I wouldn't even miss it.
