![]() You were always warned about the little things that go bump in the night, but you didn't believe them, did you? After all, ghosts don't exist, and things aren't really out to get you in the dark. As the month draws nearer to its final days, however, you're going to want to double check that belief of yours. On the eve of the 20th, continuing on, you'll feel the signs. It'll begin with a flicker, something barely noticeable. Conveniently, that day, the cinemas will start showing some creepy movies (maybe you'll have seen similar ones back home, or have you?) and you can access Ceres' TV stations- amazing show and movie line-up on their devices or TV screen. All seems to be normal, really... except for the weather that seems somewhat chilly and dismal throughout, with chances of storms every now and then. 'tis the season to be spooky, after all. It's just the weather being weird... Until you get the feeling that something is in your house... and you sure as heck didn't invite it in. How will you know? Well, you might hear it, whispering in your ear, or maybe see it as just appearing as part of that movie, or on a Holo-screen you're walking by, and disappearing as quickly as you hear or see it...

[It's not even a guess. If he were in Shirou's position, which is easily imagined (and makes him angrier to know that), he would be the same way.]
What would you do when you don't hear it? After you've failed her because you can't stand for yourself, what do you do? Beg for more power to rescue her? Do anything at all cost?!
1/? god
[Shirou's silent. If Sakura's not there then there's no point to anything he's doing. ]
2/?
I wouldn't know what to do if I've failed Sakura. [Thinking about this "what if" scenario's clouding his ability to reason. He slumps his shoulders and drops to his knees.]
done
[Illya's sacrifice will be in vain and he can't have that.]
This is already my second chance. [He's struggling to speak and he's obviously straining himself. Archer doesn't need to see to notice this.]

[He can tell who it is so he unsummons his swords. No need to be threatening to the wrong person. Shirou will always be the one at fault.]
Rescued again by her. As long as you remain useless, you'll be a burden to everyone around you.
no subject
It's troublesome enough to have to deal with this but I can't look weak in front of Sakura.
[He pulls himself up together and immediately stops looking so pathetic.]

[Quickly walking over to him... It doesn't matter if she has to go on her tip toes to do it, SAKURA MAD, and she's at least gonna try to slap him in the face.]
Don't speak for other people when you have no idea what you're talking about! No matter what you think, for myself at least, whether Senpai is a burden or not is my decision, and I say that he isn't!
no subject
There's no need to defend himself or his actions. At this point, it would seem pitiful. Besides, he's almost sure Shirou took the hint. One couldn't be entirely sure but hopefully he drilled into him that he needs to improve his shit.]
It's fine that you defend him but remember the consequences.
[This was technically a me/me situation. Which meant Archer's past would be defined by Shirou's future.]
no subject
Instead of getting angry or upset Shirou sits there reflecting back on his actions.
Archer's accepting the fact Sakura's scolding him. Sakura said that he isn't a burden. Shirou needs to become better himself. ]
Sakura, it's fine. We shouldn't ignore what Archer's saying. [It's times like these where Shirou hates the fact that he's really slow at picking up on hints.]

[She knew things would be difficult ever since that night in the rain. But even though she doesn't know what caused all of this to happen in the first place, she can't accept Archer hurting Shirou so easily.]
no subject
You would be smart to listen to what Shirou is saying.
no subject
Hear me out for a moment, Sakura. It's my fault things are going this way. I know I owe you some explanations. I just need you to give me that chance.
[Because he knows he's been avoiding it. It's difficult for Shirou to talk about his problems...especially to the one he loves.]
Archer, we'll sort this out. Do you have any complaints with that?
no subject
[While she wanted Shirou to be more open about what was bothering him, she wasn't expecting it to be like this. Still, now that it's come to this, she won't let him get away with not telling her. In any case, she waits for Archer's response.]
no subject
[Playing it straight but mostly just cutting off his part there.]
no subject
This isn't an ideal location for that kind of conversation. [It's too...out in the open.] Why don't we head on back first? I'll explain there.
