![]() You were always warned about the little things that go bump in the night, but you didn't believe them, did you? After all, ghosts don't exist, and things aren't really out to get you in the dark. As the month draws nearer to its final days, however, you're going to want to double check that belief of yours. On the eve of the 20th, continuing on, you'll feel the signs. It'll begin with a flicker, something barely noticeable. Conveniently, that day, the cinemas will start showing some creepy movies (maybe you'll have seen similar ones back home, or have you?) and you can access Ceres' TV stations- amazing show and movie line-up on their devices or TV screen. All seems to be normal, really... except for the weather that seems somewhat chilly and dismal throughout, with chances of storms every now and then. 'tis the season to be spooky, after all. It's just the weather being weird... Until you get the feeling that something is in your house... and you sure as heck didn't invite it in. How will you know? Well, you might hear it, whispering in your ear, or maybe see it as just appearing as part of that movie, or on a Holo-screen you're walking by, and disappearing as quickly as you hear or see it...

[ Yata's good at following instructions from years of taking orders from Kusanagi, so he heads down to the sweets shop and turns left with no hesitation. Bye, Oz... ]
Get back here, you fake!
no subject
Ghozt, on the other hand, is DEFINITELY GONNA PUT UP A FIGHT. Kind of... a passive sort of fight, because it sure doesn't want to confront Yata directly, but it doesn't seem to have any problem trying to outrun him.
Which is very hard to do when Yata's on a rocketboard?! RUDE. Ghozt will try to shake him by turning down a narrow alley!!]
no subject
So he'll meet it at the other end of the alley! He doesn't know which one it is on this street, but he's checking every one. YOU CAN'T HIDE, GHOZT... ]
no subject
It also appears that all of the alleys are empty... How very strange!! There certainly weren't any stray possessed bodies bowling out of any of them, and Oz (probably) can't just evaporate into thin air...
But if Yata doubles back to check again, there the rudeass ghost is, just sort of hanging out in the middle of the alley and grinning like this is a hilarious game. WHICH IT BASICALLY IS. A good game for ghosts, anyway... Maybe not for Ozes or Yatas.]
no subject
Give Oz back, jackass!
no subject
BUT GHOZT CONTINUES TO BE A RUDEASS by absconding with the help of a chain just before Yata would be within arm's reach. He uses it to propel himself up until he's able to put one foot on the edge of the roof, but pauses there to chat since his chain is pretty well anchored.]
I don't know what you're talking about! That's me - I'm Oz.
no subject
Calling yourself that, huh? You got some nerve. But I'm taking that name back!
[ wow so cool, Yata. After he picks up his skateboard, his eyes glow red as he starts unconventionally climbing up the fire escape, grabbing onto the railings and jumping from one level to another. He's a monkey...
Use the fire escape properly, Yata. ]
no subject
How can you take back something that isn't yours?
[A LAUGH and then Ghozt disappears over the side of the roof, presumably either to abscond or to wait in ambush...]
no subject
no subject
I like hide and seek better than tag, but we can play both if you want.
no subject
[ His red aura surrounds him as he rushes toward Oz, hoping that he makes it before Oz falls to his death and rips his designer pants. ]
no subject
Or bumrush his rude possessed body, gosh! Because yeah Ghozt is definitely stepping backwards over the edge of the roof as soon as Yata comes rocketing his way... Not that it's a problem for him, since he can basically catch himself from any fall with his chains, BUT STILL. If those pants are ripped, Oz will know who to blame.]
no subject
no subject
But that kick definitely makes contact and Ghozt goes stumbling away from the roof's edge. Somehow it still manages to be a little more graceful than Oz usually is... RUDE GHOST MAKING HIM LOOK INEPT.
It's still going to be a thorn in Yata's side though, apparently, since it catches its balance with Oz's scythe.]
no subject
You bastard...
[ Even though the ghost has Oz's scythe out, Yata isn't afraid to try and knock him out with a barrage of punches, each one leaving red streaks of light in its wake. ]
no subject
From the street below, Yata may hear InvisiOz calling out in a vaguely harried way!!]
Yata? Where'd you go?! [DAMMIT YATA.]
no subject
Oz! Right here!
[ Wait, let him sling Ghozt over his shoulder before climbing down via the fire escape in a more normal manner. ]
no subject
His voice comes hovering closer as Yata climbs his way down though, and it definitely sounds relieved.]
You did it! [GOOD JOB SHONEN HERO, THE QUEST IS COMPLETE.] Thanks... I'm sorry you had to deal with that guy.
no subject
[ You gotta up your game, Oz. He shakes Oz with a jolt upward as he adjusts his hold. ]
Aah, this ain't good. We gotta lock 'im up before he comes to.
no subject
[FIRST AND FOREMOST BECAUSE HE MUST PROTECT HIS HONOR. Huffs and puffs...
But at that, Oz will voice the first place that comes to mind, since really there's no winning with Casper here.]
Would it be okay for you to take him back to my apartment? We can just lock it in the bathroom or something. I'm down that way- [POINTS and then remembers he's invisible, whoops.] Er— The building to the left over there.
no subject
Yeah, I can do that. Anything you should warn me about?
[ There's no way he lives alone. Yata starts heading in that direction, Oz on one shoulder and a skateboard in his hand. ]
no subject
Warn you about? [But tragically he doesn't remember that he should probably warn about Ciel first and foremost, so:] I don't think so. Things were flying around a little while ago, but they stopped.
no subject
... Yeah, same here. Man, that gave me the creeps. [ A beat. ] You... you don't think they're... That this place is...
no subject
Yata won't be able to tell, but Oz is giving him a mildly confused look after that. The confusion reflects in his tone to a smaller degree, at least.]
Do I think it's... what? Turning into that haunted house in Vivid?
no subject
[ Okay, no, it was legit creepy at times? But 8-bit ghosts don't scare Yata! ]
These guys are real... If they can do this shit, who knows what else they can do, you know? Oh man...
