![]() You were always warned about the little things that go bump in the night, but you didn't believe them, did you? After all, ghosts don't exist, and things aren't really out to get you in the dark. As the month draws nearer to its final days, however, you're going to want to double check that belief of yours. On the eve of the 20th, continuing on, you'll feel the signs. It'll begin with a flicker, something barely noticeable. Conveniently, that day, the cinemas will start showing some creepy movies (maybe you'll have seen similar ones back home, or have you?) and you can access Ceres' TV stations- amazing show and movie line-up on their devices or TV screen. All seems to be normal, really... except for the weather that seems somewhat chilly and dismal throughout, with chances of storms every now and then. 'tis the season to be spooky, after all. It's just the weather being weird... Until you get the feeling that something is in your house... and you sure as heck didn't invite it in. How will you know? Well, you might hear it, whispering in your ear, or maybe see it as just appearing as part of that movie, or on a Holo-screen you're walking by, and disappearing as quickly as you hear or see it...

Good, because I'm not doing that again. [Mumbling something that sounds like "what the hell" under his breath before hauling himself up to his feet and then hauling Yang's body up by the arm. It takes him a second to situate himself, but he'll loop one of her arms over her shoulder so the dragging will be as minimal as possible... Except it's still a good four inches of dragging and Naoi doesn't want her to wake up with scuffed shins!!]
—And why are you so tall?!
[ANGRY SHRIMP. He's trying to heft her up in a piggyback now...]

I ate all of my veggies.
no subject
Don't be stupid. Eating your vegetables doesn't actually make you taller.

[ Here is an invisible shrug. ] I guess you stop growing when you die, though.
no subject
[A marginally aggravated sound follows, which is partially because Yang's so dang hard to carry and partially because he's stuck at 5'4" for the rest of his undead days...]
It'd be pretty strange otherwise, wouldn't it?
no subject
[ it's fine, Naoi, most girls are under your height still. Just not this one. ]
no subject
So we'd all grow taller, but not age? [See it's just a weird, tricky situation... Being dead is funky.]
no subject
[ HMMM. ]
no subject
What kind of weird world would that be? Not one I would want to spend time in.

[Welcome to hell.]

It was pretty tedious, but for most of the students there, that was the first chance they had to have a normal high school life.
[AN ENTIRE WORLD OF TRAGIC BACKSTORIES.]
no subject
[ and excuse you, she's a pretty sack of potatoes. ]
no subject
You could put it that way. Some people went to school but couldn't really enjoy it; others never got to go at all. I guess you could call it a second chance or something.
[Or something...]
no subject
[ but she still sounds a bit dubious. ]
no subject
[Since they might end up disappearing POSSIBLY FOREVER, SO...]

no subject
Even though it was tedious, I didn't mind it too much, I guess.
no subject
You do kind of come off as student council material...
no subject
What's that supposed to mean?
no subject
That you're smart and bossy.
[ She loves you really. ]
no subject
Well.
He has no problem being stuck with either of these traits, so he immediately looks less offended... what a moron.]
You have to have that kind of personality to herd around idiots.
no subject
[ that's probably how Weiss feels. ]
no subject
I guess someone has to do it, though. [Maybe he feels vaguely responsible for his idiots...]
