Haru?

[He lifted his brows curiously at the serious young man standing before him, looking more like an unassuming person who had wandered in from the streets than someone whose clothese were fine enough to belong to royalty. Koumei figured that the stranger was referring to the Kure Haru he had heard of less than a day before.

Koumei shook his head.]

No. It was Sir Mutsunokami who invited me here-- I hope I'm not intruding.

[A short, polite bow quickly followed his words. He meant no disrespect-- honest.]

[ Young man? Koumei please. Kousetsu is 800+ years old but he is fairly good looking so there is that. Aside from his rather serious expression he doesn't change much when the other replies to his inquiries. ]

Mutsunokami-san invited you? [ Ah he sees now. Kousetsu just nods in understanding. ] If you were invited by another one of us...it is not intruding. Please come in.

[ He will hold the door open for the other as he motions for him to come inside. ]

[The assessment was based on demeanor alone. While he's not unfamiliar with the concept of spirits, he has no idea who has what status in this world or this household. As such, he planned to address people as they appeared and with due respect.]

Thank you, [he said, bobbing his head in a polite little bow. Toeing off his shoes, he slipped inside with a grace of movement that his unkempt appearance did nothing to hint at.]

I really do hope I'm not disturbing. A standing association like the one you and your friends share has it's own rules and boundaries. I've just arrived in this city, so I'm not entirely sure what to expect around every corner.

[ Kousetsu simply shakes his head. ]

It is fine. You are...a guest and therefore are not intruding. [ He will close the door once Koumei is inside and settled. ]

Are you...waiting for someone in particular? If so...I can make some tea if you would like.

Sir Mutsunokami, [he repeated, patiently.] I'll wait if he's not around-- and please don't go out of your way to make tea if you weren't going to do so already.

It is fine. There is water already boiling in the kitchen.

[ And with that Kousetsu will motion for Koumei to follow him towards the kitchen. ]

I am Kousetsu Samonji, a tsukumogami. Mutsunokami-san has probably mentioned what we...are. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Ren Koumei, [he replied, and followed Kousetsu into the kitchen.] The pleasure of meeting you is mine, Sir Kousetsu. Sir Mutsu has informed me of the basic details regarding your circumstances, and nothing further. You don't need to worry about minding your tongue around me.

...I had figured as much. Mutsunokami-san is rather good about such things. You are not...that surprised. Are tsukumogami normal in your world?

Not in the way you know them....but the notion of spirits inhabiting items isn't unheard of. But, the people who can manifest those spirits are few and far between. To speak plainly, I can count their number on a hand.
