[Koumei stood solid, careful not to move when the little foxes were underfoot.]

It's no bother. I'm the one getting in the way of your playtime!

[yaayaa]

T-this isn't playtime! I was trying to stop him!!

[Robofox still has that tiny katana in his mouth, after all! (It's actually a katana-shaped letter opener.)]

Well, if that's the case...

[He's going to crouch down closer to their level and reach out a hand to scratch Robofox behind the ears, if he's allowed.]

[yaayaa]

[Robofox happily accepts the scritches! It even leans into his hand, happy for the totally well-earned affection after all that hard work and exercise. Not that robots get tired, but.

While it's distracted, smallest fox will just go over and take the not!sword away. Success! Good thing scritches are more important.

...Though now he can't talk since his mouth's full, so please excuse him a moment while he goes to put this back in their room. Or follow? Whatever Koumei wants to do, really.]

[Continuing the friendly scritching, Koumei scooped up robo-fox into his arms and, toing off his shoes, followed smallest fox around the apartment to see where he was going.

Hopefully he wasn't intruding.]

[Koumei will get to see a nice glimpse of Nakigitsune and Kogitsunemaru's room then! One of the beds is devoid of pillows or blankets or any other bed things, instead covered in an assortment of (vaguely organized?) toys and knick-knacks and things. Smallest fox deposits the not!sword on this pile, tail waving in satisfaction at a job well done, before turning to leave the room again.

...If you look really closely, you might notice somebody napping in a blanket nest on the floor. Ssshhh.]

[No sound was uttered as Koumei peered into the strange bedroom, observing smallest fox's work, the pile of organized toys, and the person napping amidst the pile of scattered blankets and pillows. Continuing to idly pet robofox, he found himself smiling almost wistfully at the scene.

Ah, to be a person who could sleep so soundly~]

[yaayaa]

[So quiet, so peaceful...for now, at least, because robofox's new goal is now to wriggle out of Koumei's arms and pounce on its sleeping owner. Can he stop it in time!?]

[Nope-- he can't.

Muttered words to keep the animal in his arms quiet were cut off by a surprised (and very undignified) yelp when Robofox got loose...and Koumei just hung his head, shoulders sagging in his defeat.

Athleticism was not one of his strong points.]

[yaayaa]

[Welp. Getting tackled awake is--normal, actually, this happens reasonably often. Still, there's a moment's silence as the fox burrows into the sheets and Naki...slowly wakes up.

Smallest fox, meanwhile, is gonna climb his way up onto Koumei's shoulder for the moment.]

Aaahh, he's awake...

Is this a bad thing?

[Koumei cast a sidelong look at smallest fox through his heavy bangs, hoping that the odd, talking little fox would have a reasonable answer.]

[yaayaa]

Oh no, it's not a bad thing, but...

[He trails off as Naki sits up, the robofox cheerfully falling off his head as he does so.]

....? [That question mark was voiced!]

[Voiced very explicitly. Caught in the young man's gaze, Koumei abruptly offered a bow.]
