[The pig, for his part, gives Kon a look which suggests that it wasn't for lack of trying, and Kon will definitely be among the first up against the wall when the pig revolution comes. Souji pets him distractedly, smiling.]

Well, Mutsunokami-san is a very friendly sword, isn't he?

[Even if the two of them have some unresolved tension going on, at least on Mutsu's side, because of something he knows but Souji apparently doesn't. Souji doesn't really care about what it is, and wishes the poor sword would just relax a bit around him.]

Will you be staying-? Ah, but I'm doing this the wrong way around. I'm Okita Souji. [A polite, graceful little bow. There's not even that little flinch that accompanied the sentiment back when it still bothered him to have people recognize his name.] It's a pleasure to meet you.

[ Yeah, he sees that. Kon just points at his eyes, then points back at the pig. He'll be watching you, too, Saizou. But then his full attention is on Souji again. ]

Very, but I'm not complaining too much considering I was literally dumped into ViViD when we met.

[ Oblivious though he may be about Mutsu's tensions, the second that Souji introduces himself he raises his eyebrows while he's bowing before his expression is settled again in quiet interest. He managed to keep the recognition off his face when he saw the other Souji's name in ViViD, but he'd been on the ground at the time that he saw it.

This time, though, he just files it away and dips his head a little. Someday he'll bow properly, maybe. ] Don't worry about it, today's been an interesting day. I'm Shinonome Kon - it's nice to meet you, too, Okita-san.
