[IT'S A STRUGGLE... But Zoro's got a point, and Kashuu nods.] A lot of the more easy-going ones are sticking around too, so that's nice. I wasn't sure they were gonna do that after that first session.

See, injuries to our human bodies just kinda go away on their own, so that's fine. But if our swords get damaged, that's gotta be buffed out by Haruji.

Lucky. [healing is balls for us normal humans, you know] I was talking to him a little while ago, about sharpening and cleaning swords. He really has to take care of all of you guys, huh?

[totally trying to approach this from the side, rather than head-on like he usually does. It's hard!]

[IT SURE SEEMS LIKE IT... Kashuu doesn't envy them there. His brow does furrow a little at that, though. He's been worried about Haru lately! He always looks so tired.]

Yeah, he's always looking out for us. We've been trying to make things a little easier on him lately, but it's super hard to control all of those guys once they start going at it in a sparring match, y'know?

Believe me, I know. [he does the same, really. But then, he only has to take care of three swords.]

I'd feel a little bad if I was the cause of any nicks and scratches. Can't be easy to keep up with that many all at the same time, especially with guys like me pushing you into fights.

You definitely weren't the worst offender! [No worries, no worries!] Most of us just get a little over-excited in matches and some have a really hard time holding back, see? Or, like... sometimes it's hard to know when you've had enough matches. Stuff like that.

Would you guys ever let someone else fix up your swords, besides Haru? Maybe not repairs but...you know, whetting, oiling, stuff like that.

[PERFECT... They're on the same moronic page, in that case.

Kashuu seems to consider that for a second, though! Repairs are definitely something he'd leave in Haru's hands and it takes a fair bit of trust just to let another person hold his vessel, but Kashuu's also always been less cautious about that than some of the other swords.]

I mean, if I trusted 'em, sure. I never really thought about it 'cause back home, Haruji's the only one who can do any of that, but... if it's just maintenance, it's probably fine. Some of us are really careful about who we hand our vessels to, though.

Yeah, I figured as much. Some of 'em would be pretty particular. But, uh. [here it goes, Zoro's attempt at being...generous?] If you need a quick cleaning and Haru's busy, I don't mind giving it a shot. I've taken care of my swords since I was ten, since I got Wadou Ichimonji...

[his hand slides onto the white-wrapped hilt of the topmost sword. The Wadou is his precious one, he's taken extra-special care of it for almost twelve years.]

[GOSH, that is generous, though. Kashuu looks a little surprised, but! After another couple seconds of thought, he'll nod.]

Sure, sure! You're a pretty trustworthy guy and I've seen your sword before.

[He had been impressed with the care at the time! It's always good to find a swordsman who takes care of his swords.]

[Fortunately, Kashuu isn't one of the people who's super fussy about who handles him... The more caretakers the merrier or something, right??]
