[ haru stares blearily up at souji, blinking a little dazedly as he waits for the question to make sense. he feels like his brain's so much mush lately. .. finally, though, he shakes his head a little, shuffling over on the couch to make room for souji.

when and if the older man settles, haru just tucks himself into his side. ]

.. Did you take your medicine..?

[ after all, even if they can't fix this whatever-it-is, they can at least keep souji's other health issues under control.. or try to. ]

[Souji sets down the bottle of water he's carrying along with him on the sofa table, along with a bag of cough drops for what little good they do. At least they feel soothing for his raw and aching throat, and that's something.

Then he sinks into the sofa next to Haru, wrapping a thin arm around the younger man and absently continuing to brush his hand through his hair. The fact that he doesn't really feel any cooler than his own feverish body is a bit worrying, to say the least.]

I did. Twice, because I tried to eat after like the doctors said, and... well, that didn't stay down. So I took it again. [He makes a small grimace. The faint nausea that started only recently combined with his own lack of appetite really isn't doing him any favors.]

I think I'm going to get by on popsicles and broth for a while.

[ something with nutrients in it. souji still needs to put some weight back on. normally, haru would go make something right now for him; he can be pushy about the older man's health, after all. but.. he just can't bring himself to get up right now.

in a few minutes. he'll get up in a few minutes to go make it. that should be okay, right? he just needs a little while to get up his strength. ]

.. I think Ima-san was going to go shopping.. [ he feels guilty about it, but what can he do? there's no way he can go out like this. ]
