Ket Whiss is gone for good, and Minato has returned from his PLAYER ONE GAME OVER moment, courtesy of a hungry monster. And there's the residual trauma of everyone's jungle/elemental adventures.

So, well. Why not have a party?

Source Below is Cerealia's most popular — and most surreal — karaoke bar. It features a costume closet, with hundreds of outfits to try on, for that full idol experience. There are themed rooms: one with overflowing candy, another built to resemble the interior of a spaceship, one full of robotic cats who yowl in time with the music, to a pitch-black room filled with pairs of enormous, glowing, slowly-blinking eyes....

But Team Catastrophe's party isn't in any of these, because none of these losers made a reservation. Instead, they got stuck with the only one left, covered in white tile, with a hot tub in the center.

This is a bad idea on so many levels, but it's not as if that's ever stopped anybody.

You could, but you'd blow all the rest of us away, too.

[ Oh trust, Yu's picturing that carnage. People and glasses and karaoke equipment all flying because Minato wanted to try his clothes.... ]

[One intense look over the karaoke lounge later:]

Probably a bad idea then. [Only probably? At least Minato's trying his best to wring out his clothes before stepping out of the bathtub with just one instance of stumbling.] I'll just look for the restroom...

[ Startled, Yu just watches, making no real move to stop him. He's been sitting braced on the edge of the hot tub for a minute or two now as they've spoken, and a lot of the water has sluiced off of him, but he's still soaking wet. Minato, on the other hand, is far worse, practically dumping buckets of water as he goes with all his sopping clothing. ]

Uh, sure. [There's enough water in Minato's clothes that it's weighing him down considerably, and he's honestly not sure if he even knows where the bathroom is.

Careful as he can be to not trip over the wires, he drips a trail of water right behind him making his way to the exit, only turning around to gesture at Yu when he has a hand placed on the door handle.]

[ Ah... he said yes.

Yu scrambles off the hot tub and does his best to follow his friend, barefoot, shirtless, and still quite wet himself. What a scene they're making.

Fortunately for them both, Yu does know where the restroom is, so he can keep them from going astray. ]

Minato-san, how much have you had to drink?

[ You know, out of curiosity. ]

Ah- [Minato's head dips as he feels a headache coming on from just thinking about it. Two cups at the beginning, then two shots before another five?]

About nine shots...I think. My head hurts. [From simple mathematics, no less.]

Maybe you should take it easy once we get back.

[ Once they're out in the hallway, Yu will point out the way to go. Never mind that other patrons going to and from other rooms are definitely staring at them. ]

I really should unless I fall asleep first. [Minato's too focused on trying not to get sick to really notice the patrons, and he stumbles a little taking a few steps in the direction Yu showed to him, absently wondering if crabs walk differently when they're drunk.

Crabs don't drink, Minato.

They eventually make their way to the washroom, and a queasy Minato excuses himself to...well, purge himself of his regrets, to put it lightly before making his way to the sink and attempting to dry his clothes.]
