[closed] everyone was watching you as everything just slipped away

Who: Akane Tsunemori ([personal profile] condoner), and friends.
When: 17 April (IC)
Where: The Chilling Cave
What: The Psycho-Pass cast (and then some) go ice skating.
Rating/Warning: Warning for Gino's sadness.

[ upon kogami's suggestion, akane's taken it upon herself to find a suitable (ha ha) way of celebrating her 23rd birthday! she found the chilling cave by coincidence while patrolling the streets once and decided that she wants to try ice skating.

so after texting the guys (brother, mom, and dad), as well as a couple of friends (really, it's just a couple. she doesn't have much friends) if they're free on the 17th, she waits outside the chilling cave, hoping to meet up with her friends.

it's time… to chill! ]

[It's a lot easier to be nimble in the field versus balancing all your weight on a pair of clunky skates, but he's clearly doing his best.]

Oh, hey, thanks. [He hesitates, then reaches out for Gino; the gesture itself isn't especially surprising, but he's pleased all the same to be offered something as simple as this much help.]

I'll try not to be too slow.

[ He's trying and that's what counts, right?

(The gesture won't make up for the time they lost back home, but at least this he can try and correct). ]

It's alright if you go slow. Too much momentum will end up in a crash, I'd think. [ Probably true. Gently tugging (though his grip is firm), he leads Kagari onto the ice, watching his feet. ]

Just make sure your toes are point straight ahead. When the angle changes, it'll cause you to lose balance.

[He almost mentions how Kogami thinks they could slide him right across the rink if they pushed hard enough, but even he knows that even a casual mention might be enough to upset him, so he settles for smiling to himself instead.]

Don't be a speed demon, got it. [But Kagari is following the advice, carefully keeping his grip on Gino and his toes pointed forward and making sure not to try moving his feet around too much.]

Who would've figured, not flailing your feet around makes it easier.
