[ upon kogami's suggestion, akane's taken it upon herself to find a suitable (ha ha) way of celebrating her 23rd birthday! she found the chilling cave by coincidence while patrolling the streets once and decided that she wants to try ice skating.
so after texting the guys (brother, mom, and dad), as well as a couple of friends (really, it's just a couple. she doesn't have much friends) if they're free on the 17th, she waits outside the chilling cave, hoping to meet up with her friends.

Trying to skate. Which is going to end up hilarious, because Otome is not the most graceful on ice and, with no railing to clutch onto, she's stuck in some awkward position, trying to grip something to keep herself upright.

She's taking a break, face flushed pink either from the cold or her laughable efforts at being a figure skater, or both. She's also got two thermoses with her, and if you head over to speak with you, she'll offer you a smile and hold up both containers expectantly. ]

Hovering near the entrance of the Chilling Cave, hands in his pockets with something tucked under one arm. It's a present, but shh... he's not sure how he should conduct himself in these situations?!
If he spots someone who also seems to look like they're waiting around for Akane, he'll take it upon himself to flag them down and ask, bluntly: ] ...Did Tsunemori invite you?
[ Mostly he's trying to feel for what kind of 'party' this is, how awkward.
Or if this is Akane, he'll just hand her her present, but. You know. Here's a guy who's treating this fun outing like it's some sort of grave and dangerous mission, how weird.
or there's option b., in which Adolf's been caught by some android skates salesman who's trying to get him to rent a skate. This salesman is really damn pushy, shoving those skates in his face and trying to get him to take his shoes off so they can check his size.
Every time he ignores the salesman, he just comes back with more skates... someone help him. ]
