[ upon kogami's suggestion, akane's taken it upon herself to find a suitable (ha ha) way of celebrating her 23rd birthday! she found the chilling cave by coincidence while patrolling the streets once and decided that she wants to try ice skating.

so after texting the guys (brother, mom, and dad), as well as a couple of friends (really, it's just a couple. she doesn't have much friends) if they're free on the 17th, she waits outside the chilling cave, hoping to meet up with her friends.

I had a difficult time when I first started working for the MWPSB, too. Seeing bodies get shot... and seeing so much blood on the ground.

But I eventually got used to it.

What we work on are usually cases of missing items and the like.

I'm glad it's nothing so usually drastic as... well, what you just showed me. Did they ever solve that particular case?

If they did, it wasn't publicised.

During my arrival, we found pieces of paper that was apparently a letter written by Bellona Recreare herself. We don't know who it's for, yet, but she mentioned that Julius Vincere isn't dead.

A staged murder? [ What in the-- ] It sounds like someone abandoning their duties-- but no, I shouldn't assume...

We don't really know the truth yet... [ and it makes her sad, right in the kokoro. ]

I'm sure with the proper searching, we can get to the bottom of it.

... But for now, let's enjoy ourselves. It's your birthday party, after all!

I think it's a bit difficult. I've been taking some anti-cold pills for a few days now, but nothing's been happening.

[ she still feels sick! her throat even hurts and she feels like she's coming down with a fever. ]

Has it been worsening, despite that? How old are the pills?

I just bought them a few days ago.

[ so they're new...ish, right???? ]

... So it's not as though they've expired... maybe consider trying a different brand?
