[ upon kogami's suggestion, akane's taken it upon herself to find a suitable (ha ha) way of celebrating her 23rd birthday! she found the chilling cave by coincidence while patrolling the streets once and decided that she wants to try ice skating.

so after texting the guys (brother, mom, and dad), as well as a couple of friends (really, it's just a couple. she doesn't have much friends) if they're free on the 17th, she waits outside the chilling cave, hoping to meet up with her friends.

it's time… to chill! ]

[Oh yeah, that is a stretch.]

I don't have a carrot...but... [Hang on let her think about this, she looks around, disappears for a moment and comes back with what seems to be a bright orange cardboard folded into the shape of a cone.]

It has some kind of plastic cover on it, so perhaps it won't get soaked.

[ It's good enough - he just likes to finish what he started, whether it's building snowmen or killing psychopaths. ]

Would you like to do the honours?

[If he doesn't mind...] Alright, I will help complete your friend.

[And she moves in closer, hovering the cardboard over the snowman's face before she finds a good place to piece it into the giant ball of a head.]

[ Good job, Vietnam. He backs away from the snowman to get a clearer look of it's overall form. ]

Well, what do you think?

[She steps back now she's finished, looking at the result with him.]

I think the nose would've been better as a carrot, but otherwise you did a wonderful job before that, Uncle Shinya.

[abhors]

[ He brushes some snow dusting off his shoulders to make a tiny, marble-sized snowball out of it, before proceeding to drop it down her back. Enjoy the cold, summer child. ]

[hoasen]

[And so this will be the first time Kogami has every heard her scream. At least it wasn't a loud scream, and just a jumpy one.]

For the record, I was asking the snowman.

[ Now he's just teasing. ]

It said you did good, but is thankful that we didn't give it any ears.

[hoasen]

[KOGAMI!!! She's trying to get the snow out from her back, but failing now it's crushed?! It's cold...]

H-how is it thankful when it doesn't know what kind of suffering yell I made!

[She needs revenge!!! So she tosses some of the snow she managed to grab from her back at him. It does nothing but come on, just stand there and let those tiny flakes hit you.]

[ Somehow, the only thing he's actively protecting is his cigarette. Priorities... ]

Ah, you got me. I added that last part. [ He added all the parts?? ] Though, "suffering yell"? Those are your words.

[Ah...well as long as he gets hit.]

Manipulating that poor snowman to speak for you! [She clears her throat while pretending to be Cool.] I am not used to the cold. Though I would not go down without a fight in a snowball battle, I believe I would be greatly disadvantaged, as witnessed by your ambush.

[ TRICK QUESTION... ]

[She just stares at him.]

Did you really have to put it like that?

[abhors]

[ That wasn't a yes or no, so he's already balling up another one in his hands. ]

[hoasen]

Is that how it's going to be!

[She doesn't even wait to make a all, she just leans forward to scoop some snow (COLD!!!) into her hands (okay it was gloved) and just flings it at him.]

[abhors]

[ She can fling all the snow she wants, it just bounces off an expressionless Kogami as he approaches closer, like he's the Terminator. HASTA LA VISTA, BABY. ]

[hoasen]

[He's too strong against flimsy snow! (who isn't)

She starts backing away slowly...maybe if she can dodge around their snowfriend.]

[abhors]

[ His arm simply reaches around their snowfriend and he picks her up by her jacket. She's so tiny! ]

Do you surrender or not?

[hoasen]

O-oh--!

[And there she is, captured, and trying to scrambling (in the air) for some kind of support?! So she holds onto his arm.]

I do not surrender!

[abhors]

I commend your bravery.

[ And another one goes down her back, but he sets her back down at least. ]

[hoasen]

Not again!!

[And she's shivering as soon as she's set back onto her feet. But this means freedom, so she by reflex she makes an attempt to tackle him like she's playing gridiron. Into the snow.]

[abhors]

Ghhk--!

[ That was actually unexpected, and with the ground being slippery as it is, Vietnam manages to accomplish the impossible by tackling Kogami into the snow! ]

[hoasen]

[SUCCESS! Except she wasn't really thinking, she just wanted to defeat him somehow.

Which is probably why the first thing she does after she sits up is shove snow down the front of his shirt.]

[ Nope, nope, nope--

Vietnam may have got him with a surprise attack, but this is where his wrestling background comes in and he promptly grapples both her arms before even more snow is shoved in him!! ]

-- I surrender.

[ He... could keep playing if he hadn't dropped his cigarette, that's the true tragedy here. ]

[Kogami you need to quit smoking, man.

She blinks because she didn't think he was going to surrender this quickly?] V-Victory? [See how confused she is?] A-ah was that too much? [Does he have sensitive skin that she didn't know about (as well as the loss of his cigarette)]
