[closed] everyone was watching you as everything just slipped away
Who: Akane Tsunemori (
condoner), and friends.
When: 17 April (IC)
Where: The Chilling Cave
What: The Psycho-Pass cast (and then some) go ice skating.
Rating/Warning: Warning for Gino's sadness.
[ upon kogami's suggestion, akane's taken it upon herself to find a suitable (ha ha) way of celebrating her 23rd birthday! she found the chilling cave by coincidence while patrolling the streets once and decided that she wants to try ice skating.
so after texting the guys (brother, mom, and dad), as well as a couple of friends (really, it's just a couple. she doesn't have much friends) if they're free on the 17th, she waits outside the chilling cave, hoping to meet up with her friends.

YOU SURE
Ginoza can see Viet blushing out of the corner of his eye, so he doesn't really look at her. She probably wants to be embarrassed without calling attention to it. Good. Glad they're both ignoring it. Indeed. ]
You seem to be doing well enough to be away from the wall. [ The mark of a true beginner. ] It's...different. Somewhat nostalgic, but not in a bad way.
WHY THIS ICON. WHY!!!!!
Good good, they're on the same page here, and that's for them to STOP!!! before they hurt themselves.]
Y-yes, I at least want to try. I won't get any better using a crutch like the wall. [Now she looks less embarrassed and a lot more softer?] Nostalgic? Did you use to skate more often?
i'm not even a little sorry
You're doing well. Honest. [ Her legs don't look wobbly, at least. ] I only did once, with my parents when I was younger. It's a good memory.
YOU'RE DOING IT AGAIN i can't believe this
She also looks a little better.] Do you think so? [She'll be good at this yet!] That sounds really nice. Did they teach you?
i have worse ones
I do. Your legs aren't shaking. [ And the toes of her skates are pointed forward, instead of tilting in. ] They did. My mother was decent, but my father was better. If a bit of a showoff.
[ He remembers him skating backwards and holding onto his small hands so he didn't fall. ]
it's either your icons OR YOUR TAGS i'm in despair
Oh! I suppose. The ice was making it very hard to keep still. [Or skate, in any case. All her kungfu didn't prepare her for this.] That sounds like a lot of fun. Some parents love showing off to their children. [See: China and France. What she is noticing though is that he is beginning to look sad?
Also Papa holding tiny gino's hands I CAN'T DEAL?]

The more you keep moving, the less likely chance of falling. Momentum will keep you upright. [ As long as the balance wasn't thrown. ]
He...was definitely one of those types. Everything over the top.
[ Gino seems to be staring off somewhere, mind not quite here. This is a happy memory, but it feels so long ago. Years long lost. ]
no subject
Oh! I should put that into practice then. [She did try to keep still too often. But at least her balance is a-okay so she has the guts to try.]
So if he's over the top, I am guessing you didn't take after that?
[He's so humble?] They're still back home for you, no? [She just wants to know why he looks so sad. Here we go, sailing through dangerous waters because I'm m.]

I didn't. There are things I got from him, but that wasn't one.
[ Maybe he would've handled things differently if he'd gotten Masaoka's geniality. ]
...No. My mother died when I was younger and my father passed away recently. [ Gino is going to avoid the murder topic..... ]
no subject
Oh? What did you get?
[She falls quiet.] Ah, I see, I am very sorry for your loss. [He doesn't even have to answer the question before.]

[ It's a polite sidestep, because she hadn't known. Masaoka's words to him are still too fresh, even with as much time that's passed. ]
What of yourself, Miss Viet? Do you have family back home?
no subject
I do have family, though none of us are related by blood. We call each other siblings, but it is because we were just raised by the same country or countries. Taiwan was brought here by CERES a while back, she is like a younger sister.

You're all close then? It must be nice to have their company here.
no subject
Somewhat. We all live alone, but we visit frequently. It was nice to have her here, I just hope she's okay. [With CERES being messed up and all.] But yes, it's like having a close friend, so it's been fine. [Seeing as countries are the loneliest characters?! Thanks himaruya, u dick.]
